As you go through the main story ofAvowed, you can unlock various new regions with each one having a unique vibe to it. Shatterscarp is the third region you’ll unlock after getting past the story of Dawnshore and Emerald Stairs, and it consists of a ton of deserts.
Much like the other regions, you may find three treasure maps in Shatterscarp, and Robe of the Arcane Cheater is one of them. This treasure leads you to a phenomenal armor, especially if you have a certain build.
Robe Of The Arcane Cheater Treasure Map Location
So far, you might’ve only encountered treasure maps by either finding them during exploration orbuying them from the tradersin the main settlements for each area. The latter is partiallytrue for Robe of the Arcane Cheater as you have to buy this one, but the required trader won’t be in Thirdborn.
You’ll find this trader in the upper middle part of the map, onthe other side of the rock structures that have Tago’s Tower in it. As you get close to the area, you’ll see the trader mark inside a small cave where you can buy the map for 1,680 currency.
Robe Of The Arcane Cheater Treasure Location
The treasure map for the Robe of the Arcane Cheater can be a little misleading as it shows a desert-covered land with a small cave in it, which might make you think you’ll find it around the Great Sand Sea. However,the true location of this treasure is in the Ancient Lakebed area.
While looking at the map, you’ll see a few water bodies below where “Ancient Lakebed” is written. You have tohead over to the biggest one of these on the left side, where you’ll also find one of the bounty targetsand a unique weapon. If you head to the western edge of the water body and look to the east, you’ll see a familiar site.
Simply follow the slope on your left and get to theupper area where you can jump on a ledge with the cave on it. You can then enter the cave and get the unique Robes of Surpassing Brilliance thatgive you increased essence and AoE damage.
