There are several beautiful and well-written main characters you can romance inKingdom Come: Deliverance 2. To romance them, you need to complete steps, and the game doesn’t really tell you that openly.
However, you can also go to places like bathhouses that feature quick romance, where you don’t have to take any complicated steps beforehand. On the other hand, there are some side characters that can be romanced with just a little effort. Here, we will provide you with a complete romance guide explaining all the options and the Time Well Spent buff.

How Does Romance Work?
There are a few charactersthat require you to take quite a few steps before winning them over. However, they often provide a cutscene when you have successfully completed all of the steps.
The following are all such characters:
Romancing a character in this game isn’t complicated. You just have to be in their good books. If you lose too much reputation with a certain character, you won’t be able to romance them. While reputation is important, you also have to be mindful of your decisions.
If you don’t bring Rosa’s book to her during theTaking French Leave quest, then there is just no way to romance her. Similarly,if you torch the towerduring theDancing with the Devil quest, then again, you won’t be able to romance Rosa.

If you don’t get the romance option for certain characters, it means you didn’t have enough reputation with them, or you may have skipped a part.
Do note thatKatherine and Hans Capon take the longest to romance. Also, you can’t romance both of them as the option to do so for both appears during the Hunger and Despair quest. Make sure to choose the right option, as once you romance either of the characters, you won’t be able to do the other.

Some Romance options require you to succeed in skill checks during the conversation. Try to go for the skills you have the most points in or the ones that are easy to pass. Upon failing a skill check, you lose reputation with the character, so you should avoid that.
You can flirt with Katherine on many occasions, but if you fail the skill checks, you will lose your reputation, so if you know you can’t succeed, it is better to choose the options without a skill check.
Quick Romance Options
Romancing a character gives you a Time Well Spent buff, which is very helpful. It doesn’t matter which character Henry romances; he will receive this buff. It boosts your Strength, Agility, and Vitality by +1.This can come in handy, especially in battle.
Once you are in the Kuttenberg region, help the bathhouse owner solve her issues. She will then offer you free services.
So, if you want this buff, you can’t just rely on the long-term romance options. Instead, quick romance options are the way to go. For that, you can visit the bathhouse near you and ask for a company. This will cost you money, but it is worth it.
However, there are also several characters Henry can romance with just a little bit of effort.
