Summary
Last week, solo indie developer TVGS released its debut game,Schedule 1, a co-op management sim where you take on the role of a small-time drug dealer “rolling into a fresh town with no cash, no product and no connections”, building your empire from nothing.
Basically,you’re Heisenberg.
And like the drug dealer who rolled into town with nothing, it hastaken Steam by storm, dethroning the immensely popularMonster Hunter Wilds(which hassold over ten million copies) with a new peak concurrent count of 414,000 players.
The top ten Steam games right now, based on their 24-hour peak concurrent player counts, look like this:

Schedule 1 Is In The Top 30 Most-Played Steam Games Of All-Time
With its peak concurrent player count rising every single day, pushing it further and further up the ranks and dethroning some of the most popular triple-A games on the market right now, Schedule 1 has unsurprisingly broken into the top 30 most popular Steam games of all time, a hugely impressive feat for TVGS.
As of writing, it has the 29th highest peak player count, but it’s not far behind other huge hits likeAmong Us,Helldivers 2, andTerraria. To put into perspective what an accomplishment that is, Schedule 1 has surpassed the likes ofGTA 5 Legacy,Monster Hunter World,Skyrim, andPayday 2.

Banana, the bizarre idle clicker that took over Steam last year, somehow has the 10th highest concurrent player count.
Schedule 1 is still in early access right now, and while it’s fairly barebones, it has fostered an enormous community in just one week, sparking TVGS, ie Tyler, to pen a heartfelt message to players.

“Thank you to everyone for showing interest in the game,” he wrote. “I never imagined the response would be this massive. It’s truly rewarding to see so many people playing and enjoying the game […] I promise that there’s a whole lot more coming. You can expect significant monthly updates for the next few years.”
You can grabSchedule 1for £14.23 on sale right now, or download the aptly titled “Free Sample” demo to get a taste.
