Summary
ManyBaldur’s Gate 3players were taken in byAstarionwhen the game launched in 2023. Well, there were probably more than a few who were into him before that during early access, but I digress - the guy is popular. That’s what I’m trying to say.
So, if you’re one of the vampire’s many, many fans, and you happen to be at Emerald City Comic Con this weekend, then you’re in luck. Somewhere in the convention hall, there’s a giant Funko Pop of Astarion, coming in at around five feet tall. As spotted byPopverse, you’re free to snap a picture with the huge figurine over the weekend. They also report that he’s been a very popular attraction, but no surprise there.

The Baldur’s Gate 3 Cast Have Met The Giant Astarion Funko Pop
Some of the actors from Baldur’s Gate 3 are at Emerald City Comic Con this weekend
SinceAstarion’s actor, Neil Newbon,is at the convention, he naturally had to meet his Funko Pop-self. Joined by Devora Wilde (who played Lae’zel), Jennifer English (Shadowheart) and Aliona Baranova (a performance director and mocap performer in Baldur’s Gate 3), he got some pictures with the giant Astarion, and it’s truly a beautiful moment.
As per Popverse, you should be able to find big Astarion in the Tavern area. However, it sounds like there might be a queue to get a snap with the fan favourite rogue, so be prepared to wait around a while.
Astarion fans have been eating good recently. As spotted earlier this week,Astarion is now Dungeons & Dragons canon, having been mentioned in the latest Monster Manual. Of course, sinceWizards of the Coast has the rights to Baldur’s Gate, it’s likely that the rest of the gang will be mentioned too, but Astarion is getting in there early.
