Summary
Carry Gods inSmite 2are meant to be the primary damage-dealers for their team, particularly in the late-game. They’re going to have slow early minutes in the matches, generally pairing with a Support in the left lane, before quickly building up power in the mid-round and being formidable in the late game.
Butnot every Goddoes this in the same way, and they aren’t necessarily all equally powerful. Some Carry Gods work wildly different than others, and have very different focuses in how they should be built, or in how their mechanics work. That said, every Carry in this list is going to be especially viable.
7Ullr
The Glorious One
Ullr is quite possibly one of the strongest Gods, which might sound strange for a God that doesn’t necessarily have an ultimate ability. Instead, Ullr has access to two different weapon types, and two different sets of abilities, correlating to his different weapons.
What Ullr might lack in burst damage, he makes up for in a sustained, outrageous assault of constant damage where he can seemingly fire a barrage of abilities without ceasing. He’s capable of healing himself a great amount while dealing damage, and can fit easily into almost any scenario with his ability to play from melee or range.
6Anhur
The Slayer of Enemies
Anhuris a Carrycapable of slowly dealing more and more damage to an enemy the longer they fight them, thanks to their passive ability allowing them to reduce their enemies' Physical Protection. Anhur deals entirely Physical Damage, ensuring they make maximum use of the passive.
Anhur is also able to debuff enemies by slowing them with their Shifting Sands, or pushing and stunning them with their Impale ability. They’re also capable of some impressive movement with their Disperse ability, allowing them to close a gap or create one with ease.
5Cernunnos
The Horned God
Cernunnos is a verymulti-faceted God. He may not be wildly effective at any one thing, but because he can do so many different things at once, smart use of him can take his team far. For starters, Cernunnos is capable of attacking from range or up close, making him capable of fighting in just about any scenario.
He can also provide a huge range of effects from a single ability, from healing himself, dealing bonus damage to enemies, reducing enemies' Protection, or slowing them. When each of these is used at the right time, it can provide a significant boon to Cernunnos, all while keeping him entirely unpredictable to the enemy team.
4Cupid
The God Of Love
Cupid has some fairly unique mechanics, giving them quite a few bonus mechanics that can change the course of a match. Basic Attacking enemies grants Cupid stacks of Lovestruck, which can then be used to deal bonus damage and apply new effects to abilities that are going to be far greater for their presence.
Primarily, those Lovestruck charges are going to enable Cupid to deal quite a bit more damage than they otherwise would. In certain situations, they’ll also be able to heal allies and restore mana to them, keeping them in the fight longer than they otherwise would be.
3Zeus
The God Of The Sky
Zeus is a very straightforward Carry God, and while he’s extremely straightforward, he’s also extremely powerful. Dealing damage to enemies with Zeus Charges them; a stack of Charge on an enemy increases the damage done to them by 20 percent. If that sounds like it’s a lot of extra damage, it’s because it is.
It maxes out at three stacks and five seconds, but in that period, you’ll be dealing 60 percent extra damage to enemies. That means after just a couple short seconds of the fight, you’ll be attacking with an incredible amount of extra damage with your Basic Attacks, not counting all the extra effects your abilities have with that Charge.
2Medusa
The Gorgon
Medusa is capable of a lot more movement options than other Gods, lessening the movement penalty for moving directions other than forward. She’s also capable of dealing damage-over-time (DoT) to enemies with regularity, the ability doing so only having a cooldown of 12 seconds at a maximum.
That DoT is going to be only one of an enemy Gods' worries against Medusa, as she’s capable of quite a lot more disruption than that. She can reduce the healing they receive, root enemies to the ground, and even stun or slow enemies by Petrifying them with her true face. All in all, Medusa can keep the enemy team from putting their best foot forward throughout the match.
1Neith
The Weaver Of Fate
Neith functions very slightly similarly to characters like Cupid or Anhur, who gain more and more power the longer a fight goes on. For Neith’s part, she can increase her Attack Speed and Intelligence at an increasing rate, due to her passive ability creating and detonating her primary mechanic: Weaves.
Detonating these Weaves damages and roots enemies, making it difficult for them to maneuver consistently throughout a fight. Neith also has access to a movement ability, which gives her some extra survivability, as well as an ability that heals her for the damage she deals.
