Smite 2 Has Lofty Ambitions To Close Out Its First Year
Announced as part of 2025’s Smite World Championship, Titan Forge Games and Hi-Rez Studios outlined their plans for Smite 2’s next few months.
It confirmed that it intends to release a new God every week until at least August 2025. That’s a total of 32 gods between now and August, a vast selection for players to dig into.
The releases will come in eight-week cycles, with the first seven weeks including Gods from the previousSmitegame, and the eighth week including a brand-new God for Smite 2. This process will repeat four times, with 28 returning Gods and four new Gods debuting over that period.
Smite 2 already has 46 Gods available in the game, so with the new additions coming, it should be at 78 by August. By comparison, the first game had 130 Gods in total, added to the game over the course of around ten years. Smite 2 is set to receive well over half of that total in its first year.
