Summary
We’re getting desperate for news on the Switch 2 now.Nintendohasn’t been forthcoming at all, only making vague allusions to theSwitch’s successor, and telling us that it will berevealed by March at the very latest.
Whether it’sobsessing over unreleased accessoriesthat have popped up in China, or keeping an eye out forapparent leaks of the Switch 2 Joy-Cons, we’re all begging Nintendo to give us some actual news. Now, as the wait continues, fans have another solution: let’s turn to tarot.

This Nintendo Fan Has A Very Creative Solution To Switch 2 Leaks
And if the cards are right, we’re in for some good news very soon…
While shared by Reddit user Future31 over on r/NintendoSwitch2, this tarot card reading originates fromFamiboards. Here, moderator Tangerine_Cookie has a playful solution to the wait for Switch 2 news and consulted the cards on the matter.
As explained by Tangerine_Cookie, these are the cards she pulled:
The Five of Swords (Reversed) represents Compromise, Moving on, Open to Change, End of Conflict.
The Nine of Pentacles (Reversed) represents Setbacks, Poor Investment, Burning out, Undeserved rewards.
The Four of Wands represents Celebration, Prosperity, Surprise, Earned success and Joy.
As you’re able to see in the post, she takes a very optimistic reading of these cards, which is unsurprising given the themes, especially the last one.
And in case you were in any doubt, she added this on at the end: “For the record, this deck correctly predicted when we’d see the first Metroid Prime 4 trailer. So we’re rolling with a 100% success rate in here”. Like, obviously this is all for fun, but that’s actually a better track record than some “insiders”.
In any case, it’s generally expected that we’ll get something soon, especially when leaks are coming thick and fast. That said, we can’t actually verify if these leaks are accurate until Nintendo announces the damn thing, and there’s bound to be a lot of people trying to capitalise on this frenzy, so we’ll have to wait and see what the console actually ends up looking like.
In the meantime,Switch sales have slowed as everyone waits for the Switch 2 announcement. It seems that the community is ready for the upgrade now.
