During the Version 2.2 update, Rinascita’s story continued with the fourth act inWuthering Waves, which also unlocked Aero as the third playable Attribute for Rover. You can switch between the Rover’s Attributes on the character screen by clicking on the switch button beside their name.
Aero Rover is a unique character that can convert various negative statuses into Aero Erosion. While there might not be a lot of usage for you to get out of that just yet, you can still have a decent build where you can use them as a support character.
Aero Rover Build In Wuthering Waves
With Aero Rover, Wuthering Wavesalso released a suitable weapon and echo set to build them. While the Bloodpact’s Pledge weapon is the best in slot for them, the same can’t be said for the Gusts of Welkin Echo set with the current character roster in the game.
Here are all the weapons, echo sets, and main echoes that you can use to make the perfect Aero Rover build:

Bloodpact’s Edge is a free five-star weapon that you may get afterfinishing Act Four of Rinascita: The Maiden, The Defier, The Death Crier. It has a special passive when equipped on Aero Rover, making it the best weapon for their build. However, every other weapon and echo mentioned above synergize with Aero Rover’s abilities in some way.
Synergy With Aero Rover
Bloodpact’s Pledge
This weapon has Energy Regen as a secondary stat, which helps Aero Rover build their Liberation up quickly for their rotation. Moreover, itincreases their Resonance Skill DMG after providing healing.
When equipped on Aero Rover, Bloodpact’s Pledge canincrease nearby resonators' Aero DMG by 10 percent.
Blazing Brilliance
Apart from giving you a ton of Crit DMG, Blazing Brilliance also gives Aero Rover some ATK andup to 56 percent Resonance Skill DMG at first Syntonize. This is a great weapon to deal some damage with the character.
Emerald of Genesis
The standard five-star Sword in Wuthering Waves can giveAero Rover some much-needed Crit Rate and Energy Regen. Other than that, it increases your ATK while casting Resonance Skill up to two times.
Commando of Conviction
This is a simple stat-stick weapon that increases Aero Rover’s ATK with both thesecondary stat and after they cast their Intro Skill.
Overture
Overture is a great weapon to ease your rotations while in combat as it can help you get Aero Rover’s Liberation back faster with the Energy Regen anduse their Outro Skill faster with the Concerto Energy Regen.
Sword of Voyager
Finally, if you don’t have any of the above weapons, the Sword of Voyager can also help Aero Roverwith a bunch of Resonance Energy Regen.
Moonlit Clouds
Currently, this serves as the best set for Aero Rover’s build sincethey can only be used as an off-field sub-DPS or support. It gives them 10 percent Energy Regen.
Moreover, when you switch to a resonator with your Outro Skill,you may give them a 22.5 percent ATK boost.
Gusts of Welkin
While this might not be the best set on Aero Rover for now, it’sexpected to climb up as more synergistic units get released. It gives them a 10 percent Aero DMG Bonus with the 2-pc.
Furthermore, you can increase the entire party’sAero DMG by 15 percent upon applying Aero Erosion on the enemy, with an extra 15 percent for yourself.
Rejuvenating Glow
Finally, if you’re planning to use Aero Rover as the sustainer of your team, you may use this set to get some Healing Bonus whileincreasing the party’s ATK when you heal them by 15 percent.
Aero Rover isn’t recommended as the dedicated sustainer of the party asthey don’t have any party-wide buffs in their kit.
You’d have a muchbetter time using Shorekeeper, Verina, or Baizhi in this slot to get these buffs.
Impermanence Heron
This echo is quite similar to its set as it can give a12 percent DMG boost to the resonator you switch towith an Outro Skill. To trigger this buff, you have to hit enemies with this echo’s attacks once.
Reminiscence: Fleurdelys
You can get this echo by fighting the Fleurdelys weekly boss, and it provides a20 percent Aero DMG Bonus to Aero Rover, which is perfect to give them some extra DPS.
Fallacy of No Return
Finally, as the sustainer of the team, this echo givesAero Rover a 10 percent Energy Regen alongside 10 percent ATK to all allieswhen its ability is used.
Aero Rover Team Setup
Unfortunately, Aero Rover doesn’t have any teams that they fit well in just yet. However, you can usethem alongside Jiyanand Shorekeeperto get some extra Aero DMG Bonus and other stats on Jiyan. However, you’ll always get more value by replacing Mortefi for Aero Rover since he can give Jiyan a ton of Heavy Attack DMG bonus.
Alternatively, you can also use Phoebe instead of Shorekeeper since she can apply the Spectro Frazzle effect on the enemies, which can beconverted to Aero Erosion with Rover and allow you to use the Gusts of Welkinset effects. Here’s how the rotation for this team will look like:
With Phoebe replacing Shorekeeper, you’ll have to use herConfessions state to apply as many Spectro Frazzle as possiblebefore switching to Rover.

Being a free five-star character and another attribute for Rover, the abilities you can use on this character are pretty straightforward:

The ability to convert every other negative status into Aero Erosion is quite strong since thedamage enemies take from this status increases with its stacks.
Having a dedicated five-star weapon that everyone can get for free is a great addition to their kit. You canalso get Aero Rover on maximum Resonance Chainfor free.
While it’s great to convert negative statuses on the enemy, there aren’t a lot of characters to apply these statusesin the first place. However, this is something that’ll get better with time.
A lot of Rover’s crucial multipliers are locked being their Resonance Chain, and their wavebands will release slowly with updates.
It’s important to note that all Aero Rover’s weaknesses are temporary andwill be fixed as Wuthering Waves expands on negative statuses.
The character is just ahead of its time,but that also makes them future-proofand safe to invest your resources in.
Aero Rover Forte Priority
Rover is a special character that can get multiple attributes unlocked as you progress through the story. This saves you some resources since you don’t have to upgrade the character to level 90 for each attribute, as the character level is shared. You only have tospend resources to upgrade their weapon, echoes, and forte.
While building Aero Rover, thebest ability to focus on is undoubtedly their Forte Circuit. This has the multipliers for your highest damage ability and healing from Cloudburst Dance. After that, you can focus on their abilities in the following order:
