Summary

InKingdom Come: Deliverance 2, the Agility stat has an effect on lots of different things. It determines the amount of stamina consumed with each melee hit, and increases the speed of melee strikes, and drawing a bow.

Leveling up this stat also increases your movement speed, and reduces fall damage. It also affects your stealth capabilitiesand the effectiveness and quickness of your dodges in combat. Given how important this stat is, there are more than a few perks to always keep in mind.

8Finesse 1 And 2

Both parts of the Finesse perk apply to all kinds of swords, and acquiring both of these perks nets you a ten percent damage bonus. While that may not seem like a huge amount, it does make a difference given the game’s combat system.

Enemies are often left with just a tiny bit of health, and the increased damage helps you kill them a bit quicker. If you’re facing multiple enemies at once, then this really helps you take care of them quicker and increases your chances of survival.

7Ranger Run

After you’ve been running for ten seconds and are almost out of stamina, then the Ranger Run perk activates and quickly recovers almost all of your stamina in a few seconds, letting you sprint again.

This perk has no cooldown and can be activated over and over again as long as you’ve been sprinting for a minimum of ten seconds. If your horse is your preferred mode of transportation, then this perk might not be as important, but if you prefer to just run around locales, especially the areas in and around Kuttenberg, then this makes for a decent choice.

6Featherweight

Given how many hills there are in this game, dying from fall damage or getting terribly injured can be a nuisance. With the Featherweight perk, fall damage is reduced by 30 percent, which is a pretty huge amount and can often make the difference between surviving a fall or not.

This is also an essential skill for thievery, as you may now escape tricky situations. If the guards are looking for you, you can get away easily by jumping from a height and taking far less damage than before.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 screenshot of deft hands perk.

5Deft Hands 1 And 2

The first part of the Deft Hands perk lowers the required agility for all weapons by two points, while the second part lowers it by an additional five points. Both of these perks make it easier to handle weapons and lowerthe stamina costsfor melee attacks.

The Agility skill maxes out at 30 points, so getting an additional seven points if you’re already below that 30 point mark, makes a pretty huge difference in combat, and it’s best to acquire the second part of this perk as soon as you can.

4Dominant Hand

If your build includes aone-handed weapon(without a shield) such as a short sword, hunting sword, or a sabre, then this perk is an absolute must. The Dominant Hand perk reduces the stamina cost for attacks by a sizable 20 percent, letting you land a lot more hits before running out of stamina.

This perk also extends to blocking, and not only reduces the stamina drained with a successful block, but also makes blocking more effective by letting you block more hits before getting startled.

3Creeping Phantom 1 And 2

Both parts of the Creeping Phantom perk are extremely important for a stealth build, as they let drastically improve your sneaking speed. The first perk increases it by 15 percent, while the second by an additional 35 percent, for a total of a 50 percent faster movement speed when you’re crouched.

These also make it a lot easier to move around and get behind enemies for a quick takedown during quests where you have to infiltrate a certain location, not to mention sneaking around when you need to steal an item and quickly get in and out.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 screenshot of totentanz perk.

2Totentanz

Totentanz is a great perk for players who prefer to dodge rather than block. After performing a perfect dodge, which is done by dodging when the prompt for a perfect block shows up, you get a 15 percent damage buff for five seconds.

While five seconds may not seem like a lot of time, this can be done repeatedly to give you that 15 percent damage buff for longer periods of time, making this a good choice for dodge-focused playstyles.

1Nimble Stance

Nimble Stance is great for both players who have mastered the dodging mechanic, or for those who want to but can’t due to the higher stamina costs associated with dodging.

This perk decreases the stamina cost for dodging by a whopping 40 percent, making a huge difference to the feasibility of this mechanic. Combine this with the Totentanz perk, and it can quite literally become a game-changing mechanic.
