The school-building mechanics inMind Over Magicare complex, as you need to consider both architectural and interior factors. The placement of your rooms plays a great role in the development of your school. To create certain room types you need to meet some conditions.
Starting with keywords for a specific room, you need to place your room in the correct position to successfully make it. You also need to furnish it properly, as you definitely won’t be needing beds in your classroom. Your Mages rely on you to provide them with the necessary facilities, so make sure your rooms are well-equipped.

Start With Basic Rooms
You don’t need anything grand at the start, andyou are given limited space to workwith, you should get started with themost simple rooms. This will help youmanage the spaceyou are given efficiently. You can alwaysexpand your schools with larger and advanced roomsafter clearing more Fog around the school building.
Basic Rooms also havefew resource requirements, so it’s also easier to build them considering that you have access to afew materials around your schoolgrounds. Yourstaff number is also limited, so you’re able to only gather a few materials by the end of the day.

Build Around The Middle
The Fog is encroaching towards your schoolfrom both the left and right sides. It will continue to grow if you do not control it, however, if you keep your schoolbuilding around the middle of the grounds, it will give youmore safetyto work with.
Instead of placing rooms on the sides, you shouldbuild them on top of each other. The schoolbuilding will be tall, and you will need stairs to get your mages across every area. You will also need tobuild enough support, so your school can withstand its height.

You should only start building at the sides after you have enough space to spare.
Build Essential Rooms
The students enroll in your school to hone their skills as mages, so providing them with aclassroom should be your first priority. However, taking care of theneeds and convictions of your dedicated staff membersis important as well. If you make a mistake, or youneed better furnishings, you can alwaysdeconstruct the schoolto get your spent materials back.
You needa bedroom, and you canbuild the Austere Bedroomas a starter bypurchasing some Cots. The Mages also need toeat some food to survive, and for that, you shouldbuild the Dining Room. We also recommend buildinga Common Room for recreational purposes.

As you progress, you will need to keep up by building luxurious rooms for your Mages.
Beware Of Void Shrooms
You will sometimes notice thegrowth of Void Shroomsin your rooms. This happens when your rooms don’t have enough light, soplace Wall Torchesto avoid that.Void Shrooms drain 30 Mana in one hourif they grow completely.
If you see one sprouting in a room, you shouldremove it immediately using your Nature Mages.Harvesting it gives Voidcap, which is a crafting material used to make some furniture,

Build Chests To Avoid Clutter
Clutter in the rooms in your magic school looks less appealing. However, it has a much worse effect as it cancause Gremlins to appear, which maydestroy the stuffyou have gathered through your hard work.
Building a storage chestmakes your school look cleaner, and you don’t risk losing anything. You shouldplace several of them around the school, especiallynear the work areas.

You should also get Water Mages to regularly clean your rooms to avoid the Filth status effect.
Craft Important Facilities
You will have access to somefacilities like Student Summoner and Mana Font from the start. However, your school needs much more to function well. For starters, you shouldget a Wand Shaper to be able to summon studentsin the first place andassign them their first wand.
We also recommendbuilding an Arcane Secretary for research purposes. This will allow you tounlock more furniture and luxurious itemsthat you need to keep up with the progress. Furthermore, we also suggestbuilding Gutberry Planters and Gruel Potto take care of meals.

The Rooms Need To Be Accessible
There is no point in building rooms if your mages are unable to access them. Make sure toalways place a door, so they can enter it any time. We also recommendbuilding a hallway across the wallsto traverse the rooms in between walls.
ensure that your Magescanget across both sides of the School Ground, so placeadditional doors across rooms that lead outside. If you have placed rooms vertically, you alsoneed to build stairways, so your Mages can move to upper floors.

Check The Codex For Keywords
Your Codex containsall you need to make any specific room. Thisincludes keywordsthat you can think of asrequirements you need to fulfilltosuccessfully createany type of room.
Looking at keywords first will help you plan. For example, if you want tomake a Conservatory, you need a roomto be Toweredto finish building it. You can do that by simplymaking a room higher than others.
