As soon as you enter the Amphoreus region ofHonkai: Star Rail, you learn about a separate ecosystem with titans and Chrysos Heirs. One of the first characters you meet on this planet is Tribbie. While she might not look the part, she’s one of the strongest lore-based characters.
Tribbie is a five-star playable unit with Quantum as her combat type and Harmony as her path. Apart from providing various buffs to her team, she can also deal a significant amount of damage to the enemies once you build her fully.
Best Tribbie Relics And Planar Ornaments
Even after being a Harmony character, Tribbie doesn’t make good use of support-based sets since she also deals a lot of damage. Thebest relic and planar ornament set for her is the Poet of Mourning Collapse and Bone Collection’s Serene Demesnerespectively.
However, if you’re able to’t farm these sets just yet, there are also a ton of other choices for you:
Relics
Poet of Mourning Collapse
This is the best in slot set for Tribbie, butyou have to base your build around this for it to work. Apart from increasing the Quantum DMG with two pieces, this setdecreases your SPD but also increases your Crit Rateif your SPD is low enough.
It’s important tokeep Tribbie’s SPD below 95to get the full benefit of this set.
2-pc Ashblazing Grand Duke and Longevous Disciple
If you can’t get the poet set above just yet, you can instead go for two pieces of the two mentioned set asthese will give you increased HP and follow-up ATK DMG, both of which are great for Tribbie.
The Wind-Soaring Valorous
The two-piece bonus for this set is useless for Tribbie, butthe four-piece bonus can make it a decent choice. It increases your Crit Rate while also giving you an Ultimate DMG boost after triggering a follow-up attack.
Genius of Brilliant Stars
The main DPS set for Quantum characters can also work with Tribbie since you can enjoy20 percent DEF shred on the enemies with heras long as they have Quantum Weakness. However, getting a good Crit Ratio on her with this set will be difficult.
Planar Ornaments
Bone Collection’s Serene Demesne
This set gives you an HP boost of 12 percent while alsoincreasing Tribbie’s Crit DMG if her HP in battle is over 5,000. With the right focus of her relic stats, this is quite easy to achieve, making this the best planar ornament for her.
Lushaka, the Sunken Seas
If you want to focus more on Tribbie’s support abilities than her damage, you can use the Lushaka set to give her some Energy Regeneration Ratewhile also providing extra ATK to the first characterin your team lineup.
Duran, Dynasty of Running Wolves
This set is perfect if you’re planning to use Tribbie in a follow-up team as it canprovide her extra follow-up ATK DMG and Crit DMGonce you trigger five follow-up attacks.
Fleet of the Ageless
Fleet is the perfect set for Tribbie if you’re in the early game of Honkai: Star Rail as it becomes available quite fast and can provide her with some much-needed HP. However,since you’ll likely have her on low SPD, the rest of the bonus is useless for her.
Tribbie Relic Stat Priority
After you’ve chosen the correct relic and planar ornament set for Tribbie according to the availability and the team you’re planning to use her in, thenext step is to decide what stats you want on all her pieces. The choices are quite simple when it comes to Tribbie:
HP Percent > Energy Regeneration Rate
Crit Rate/DMG > HP Percent
If you’re not using the Poet relic set on Tribbie,you’ll need a lot more Crit Rate, which means that you may go for it as the main stat on the body.
Best Tribbie Light Cones
Once you get Tribbie by wishing on her limited banner in Honkai: Star Rail, the next thing you’d want to do is give her one of the best light cones.For Tribbie, the best light cone in the game is If Time Were a Flower, but Dance! Dance! Dance! is a close secondfor F2P players.

If Time Were a Flower
It’s not surprising that Tribbie’s signature light cone works the best for her since it provides her with some much-needed stats. It increases her Crit DMG while giving her extra energy whenever she triggers a follow-up attack.
Moreover, after triggering a follow-up,all your allies can enjoy a Crit DMG boost for two turns. Finally, she gets extra energy and applies this Crit DMG boost to allies at the start of the battle.
Dance! Dance! Dance!
If you don’t have Tribbie’s signature light cone, this is also a great one as it canadvance her allies' actions whenever she uses her Ultimate, which happens almost every turn if not twice a turn sometimes.
Carve the Moon, Weave the Clouds
If you purchase the battle pass and have access to this light cone, it’s a great one to use on almost every Harmony character including Tribbie. Whenever her turn starts, this cangive all allies an ATK, Energy Regen, or Crit DMG boost at random.
This random boost gets reset when her next turn starts andyou can’t get the same boost twice in a row.
For Tomorrow’s Journey
Finally, if you don’t have any of the other light cones, this can also be decent as it gives her a DMG boost for a turn after using her Ultimate, whichwill usually let you trigger multiple follow-up attacks with this boost.
However, the ATK boost on this cone is useless for Tribbie.
Best Team Members For Tribbie
Knowing that Tribbie is a Harmony character, her overall value on your account is heavily dependent on the availability of certain characters. Thebest main DPS team members for Tribbie are The Herta, Aglaea, Jing Yuan, and Blade, with each one getting value from her for specific reasons.
However, if you don’t have any of these characters, you still have a few other choices:
The Herta
The Herta was the first characterto be released during the Amphoreus arc, and she’s also the best teammate for Tribbie. The Herta’s constant AoE attacks let Tribbie regenerate a ton of health while the latter provides increased overall damage to the former.
Best Team:The Herta, Tribbie, Herta, Huohuo
Aglaea
Aglaea has been with Tribbie throughout the Amphoreus arc, so it’d be surprising if they didn’t work well together. Aglaea’s constant attacksallow Tribbie to regenerate a ton of energyand her reliance on Ultimate also allows the latter to use a bunch of follow-ups.
Best Team:Aglaea, Tribbie, Sunday/Remembrance Trailblazer, Huohuo
Jing Yuan
Jing Yuan was one of the weakest characters for a long time, but he’s getting constant indirect buffs first in the form of Sunday and now Tribbie. Theconstant follow-up attacks from these two characterscan work wonders for Tribbie.
Best Team:Jing Yuan, Sunday, Tribbie, Aventurine
Blade
Blade is one of the few HP-scaling DPS units in Honkai: Star Rail,which automatically makes him great with Tribbie, another HP-scaler. Tribbie’s HP increases based on the team’s HP during her Ultimate, and Blade’s high HP helps with that.
Best Team:Blade, Tribbie, Jingliu/Jade, Luocha
Qingque
Finally, if you don’t have any of the above characters, you can also useTribbie alongside Qingqueas the main DPSdue to her AoE abilities and the shared combat type, which also lets you use Planetary Rendesvouz light cone on Tribbie.
Best Team:Qingque, Tribbie, Sparkle, Huohuo
Tribbie Traces Overview And Priority
Unlike various other characters being released in Honkai: Star Rail,Tribbie’s kit is fairly simple and easy to understand. Here are the major things you need to know about it:
The most important part of Tribbie’s kit is her RES PEN,which makes her Skill the priority for upgradeseven though you’ll be using it the least in battle. After that, you can upgrade her Ultimate to get increased damage on the enemies followed by the Talent for increased damage on Tribbie herself.
You can alsolevel up her Basic Attack last since she uses it a bunch of timesbetween her Skill. Finally, you’ll also have to unlock all her bonus abilities and side nodes whenever you can as they give her a significant amount of boosts.
Is Tribbie Worth Pulling?
Harmony characters have been some of the strongest units in Honkai: Star Rail, and this is no different for Tribbie. She provides significantly fewer boosts compared to other units of this path,but the high RES PEN from her Skill is already more than enoughto make her top-tier.
Her buffs are also applied to the entire team while being generic, which means that almost every DPS can be used alongside her.If DoT characters come back into the meta, she can be a great unit with them as well. Overall, Tribbie is a phenomenal character to have.
Of course, there will be more support characters in the future andyou should only pull for characters you enjoy.
