Summary

A museum is nothing without guests, and inTwo Point Museum, the only way you can really make a lot of money outside of your grants is through guest donations. As such, it’s really worth taking the time to cater to your guests, even if that means reorganizing your entire museum in their favor.

Of course, you’re able to also specifically cater to lower maintenance guests who are more likely to donate more money or those whose favors are easily won so long as you have one or two specific items set up in your museum. Whoever your guest is, you should probably try to keep them happy.

Frozen Find Displays Only

The Yeti is a museum-specific guest who you will only find in the Prehistory Museum. They walk in with the sole intent to head towards your Frozen Find display section, so attempt to keep that closer to the front so it’s easily accessible for them.

If you set up this section with a lot of buzz, you’re able to get quite a bit of money out of your Yeti visitors, and they’ll passively impart knowledge to other viewers. What makes them quite polite, however, is that they don’t litter (the janitors thank them for their efforts to leave things nice).

There Are Not Plenty Of Fish In The Sea

Marine Life Enthusiasts are a bit hard to find because, chances are, they will only show up when you start building up the Marine Life exhibits in Passwater Cove. You won’t really see them in many other museums - if any - simply because the other museums don’t feature aquariums.

However, given that Passwater Cove and all its aquariums are basically their dream museum, when the aquariums are set up well, you’re certain to have a pretty high Buzz rating as they wander through and observe all the different fish that you’ve managed to capture for their viewing pleasure.

8Supernatural Enthusiast

All Kinds Of Spooks

Supernatural Enthusiasts are an interesting lot, purely because you’ll only see them where Supernatural displays are put on view (at the Wailon Lodge). They gain more Buzz from well-maintained and high-Buzz exhibits, so take care that the Wailon Lodge is in good condition.

Whether your exhibits areghostly in nature with the Polterguest Hotel Rooms, or are simply cursed and haunted objects you found on expeditions, Supernatural Enthusiasts are sure to have an absolute blast in the Wailon Lodge.

7Botany Enthusiast

They Speak For The Trees

There is a chance that you can see Botany Enthusiasts in more than one of your museums, despite being indicated as “museum-specific” guests. So long as you have a Botany display in your museum, they will show up to come and enjoy it.

You do have a chance of losing your Botany displays if you don’t take care of them, and in turn, you do risk losing this guest. So taking the time to make sure your plants are well-maintained is important to gaining their very valuable donations.

6Children

They Run Wild

If you think that you’ve made a really informative museum that’s really well put together, you can basically toss that idea out the window as soon as the children come running in.

Children will appear in every single one of your museums, and while they will gain Buzz from your different displays, they either can’t or refuse to read the Info Stands you put up.

As such, to get the maximum Buzz for children, you’ll need to fill your museum with Interactive Displays (such as the dinosaur slide in the Prehistory museum) and plenty of things that generate entertainment - and fortunately, the latter tends to benefit everyone.

5Professor

They Educate, Even Off-Duty

If you’re going to make the Professors happy as they wander through any of your museums, you’ll need to have plenty of Info Stands on display for them. You will also need to make multiple expeditions to the same area to increase the knowledge provided by each of your displays.

However, by doing so, you will gain significantly more donations from each Professor who spends time wandering around. To sweeten the pot a little bit, Professors will also impart knowledge to nearby visitors, which increases their experience too.

4Tourist

Buying Up The Gift Shop

Tourists are a little bit annoying, because they take so many photos of your exhibits, which means you need to be more on top of your maintenance. However, that one con is not enough to detract from the overall positive bonuses that Tourists bring to your various museums.

Notably, Tourists absolutely love gift shops, and the better your gift shops are, the more likely they are to spend a lot of time in them and a lot of money in them. Keep your gift shops accessible and well-stocked, and you will find that they easily compensate for the cost of maintenance.

3Goth

Goths Love Museums

Although you might not suspect it, your Goth visitors are actually really nice and low-maintenance, especially if you have useful exhibits like the Haemoggobler Plant. A lot of Goths visit just to live out their dreams of becoming vampires, but the Haemogobbler Plant is not a necessity for them to visit.

They do tend to thrive more in the Supernatural Exhibits, but you may find them just about anywhere, donating, not relying on entertainment to fuel their buzz, and generally just having a good time.

2Vampire

Delightfully Low Maintenance

Vampires are some of the best guests that you can have in your museum because they don’t require food, drink, or rest. They have quite a bit of Buzz and, when wandering around the Wailon Lodge, they gain additional bonuses due to the Supernatural Exhibits.

However, you do need to put forward a little effort in order to fill your museum up with Vampire guests, becauseyou will need to transform them with the Haemogobbler Plant. Once you’re far enough in on the Wailon Lodge, it is easy enough to obtain.

Where Did They Even Come From?

Clown guests will just seemingly show up out of nowhere, and if you check their descriptions, then you’ll notice that they don’t even seem to be human. Instead, they are created fromone of the creepiest exhibits in the game, the Blooming Buffoon.

These plant-based lifeforms are nice to have in your museums, as gaudy as they may be. These guests will naturally increase the entertainment of your other guests, which will make your life much easier when you are organizing and planning the layout of your museum and the different exhibits.
