There are all sorts ofPokemonintroduced to the franchise across various games. While everyone finds smaller Pokemon cute, there are some larger Pokemon that are equally adorable. Pokemon like Snorlax and Wailord are so cuddly that they even have many official plushies designed for them.
The large Pokemon are also very strong and formidable due to their massive size. In the games, they typically have higher attack and defense stats. Some of them are usually tame and do not attack people, however, a few others aren’t too friendly and have tried to hurt humans, such as Tyranitar, Groudon, and Wishiwashi.

8Wishiwashi
As a solo tiny fish, Wishiwashi is a frail Pokemon, but it becomes huge in its school form. Together with this hoard of Wishiwashi, it can defeat opponents that are much larger than it. Its attack and defense also increase, giving you an upper edge in battle.
It is often underestimated by people and Pokemon out on their quest to hunt it. However, they may be in for some trouble if it gathers a school. Wishiwashi becomes fearsome enough to make even Gyardos flee.

Wishiwashi’s unpredictable behaviour has also earned it the title of “demon of the sea.”
7Groudon
Groudon is a massive Ground Pokemon that is sealed deep within Hoenn’s magma. It wassought after by Team Magma, who wanted to expand more land in the region. As it can create new continents, it needs to be large enough to handle the arduous task.
Groudon isn’t all evil as in the past it has saved people from a flood with its strong sunlight that can evaporate water. It is an ambitious Pokemon who had many clashes with Kyogre to get the region in his control and get more land than water. In its Primal Groudon form, it becomes even more fearsome.

6Eternatus
Eternatus is a dragon who doesn’t even look like a creature from the Pokemon world at first glance. If you thought its previous form was intimidating, its Eternamax form makes it a colossal Pokemon that almost resembles a centipede.
Not all large Pokemon are cuddly and cute, as Eternatus was responsible for causing the Darkest Day in Galar, and its legend is feared among the locals. It also holds great significance in the region, as Eternatus is responsible for causing the Dynamax phenomenon used in battles.

The Exeggutor in the Kanto region was too small to be a real tree, However, we see the Pokemon in its prime height in itsAlolan form. It doesn’t resemble a dragon in any way, yet it is a Dragon-type Pokemon, which is attributed to its giant size.
These Exeggutors love to bask in the sunlight around the beaches in Alola. It uses its long neck to attack other Pokemon in battles. Due to its Psychic origins, you may also teach it some Psychic moves in the game to increase its versatility.

4Steelix
If you thought Onix was humongous enough, it evolves into Steelix, which is a much larger Pokemon. Steelix is also shown to be aggressive in the anime series when it tries to attack Ash and his friends in a fit of rage.
Steelix has a hardened body made of solid metal, but it can also use Ground-type attacks. It likes to burrow its way in the ground and can even withstand the heat near the earth’s core. Its teeth are strong enough to break down the toughest of rocks.

Steelix’s long-term exposure to the ground makes it ingest chunks of iron, contributing to its hard body.
3Tyrannitar
While its first evolution, Larvitar is quite little and also more friendly, its nature changes when it evolves. As its name suggests, Tyranitar is an aggressive Pokemon raising Tyranny in the areas where it resides.
It’s a strongGround-type Pokemonwith high defense and causes severe earthquakes. Tyranitar is proud of his body and has an ambitious nature that will lead it getting into fights with other strong Pokemon.

They have a balloon-like body, which lets them store a lot of air. This lets them dive deeper into the ocean without much trouble. At the shore, they are found floating and resting peacefully in their lane. They stay in large groups and protect each other if they are attacked by predator Pokemon.

1Snorlax
Snorlax is iconic for its size, and we often find it blocking our way forward in many games with its chonky body. It is also a glutton who would take a long nap after munching on tons of food.
Its massive body also makes Snorlax harder to defeat, as it barely sustains damage. Snorlax’s rest move also restores it to full health, making him an annoying Pokemon to deal with in a battle. Snorlax has a cuddly and bouncy body, as we see many small Pokemon jumping on it for fun.

According to its Pokedex entry, it eats around 900 pounds of food every day, which makes it too sleepy to move around.
