The Lorcana card Robin Hood Capable Fighter by Noukah.

8Robin Hood, Capable Fighter

Sharpshooter

Exerting Robin Hood, Capable Fighter lets you deal one damage to another character with his Skirmish ability. It may be small, but as a shift target with its own ability, it’s surprisingly flexible.

While you’re able to’t ink this two-ink character, but since you can use this one to shift into bigger versions of the fox, you still want to run this iteration of Robin Hood in your deck. Not to mention, being able to finish off a weak character can feel real good.

The Lorcana card Steal From The Rich by Hedvig Haggman Sund.

7Steal From The Rich

What’s Yours Is Mine

This action cardis all about following the motto that Robin Hood lives by, stealing from the rich and giving to the poor. Steal From the Rich lets you deplete your opponent’s lore count by one anytime one of your characters quests for the turn.

While you don’t get to take that lore for yourself, it just fades into nothing when your opponent loses it. Five ink is a bit of a high commitment, especially since you can’t add it to your inkwell, but it can be exceptionally thematic if you’re running a Robin Hood-themed deck.

The Lorcana card Friar Tuck Priest of Nottingham by Denny Minonne.

6Friar Tuck, Priest Of Nottingham

Pay Those Taxes

The venerable Friar Tuck, Priest of Nottingham is a solid card to cut your opponent’s hand down a bit, though if you’re not careful, it can backfire on you. Friar Tuck’s You Thieving Scoundrel ability makes it so the player, or players, yourself included, with the most cards in hand have to discard one card of their choice.

Disruption strategies like forcing your opponent to discard cards can give you a huge advantage, especially when you combine Friar Tuck with other characters that reward you for making your opponents discard cards.

The Lorcana card Prince John Greediest of All by Koni.

5Prince John, Greediest Of All

Discard Rewards

Sitting on his high throne, Prince John, Greediest of All is a fantasticallyfaithful Emerald cardto the character from the film. With ward, Prince John can’t be chosen for other cards unless they are challenging them, letting him safely watch the battles go on while not participating in them.

This version of Prince John comes with the I Sentence You ability, which makes it so anytime one of your opponents discards one or more cards for any reason, you get to draw one card for each of those discarded ones. Pair him up with Friar Tuck and other discard effects and you’ll have the advantage over your opponents in no time.

The Lorcana card Prince John Phony King by Koni.

4Prince John, Phony King

Balance Each Other Out

A sneaky little version of the Lion king, Prince John, Phony King is a solid character that taxes your opponents for their lore while ever-increasing your own. With Prince John’s Collect Taxes ability, anytime you quest with this Prince John, your opponent loses two lore.

Since you get two lore when the false king quests, you’re making a four-point lore shift in the game, which is pretty significant especially if you’re able to quest multiple times in a game. With a stat line of just two strength and four willpower, you might not get much out of him, but even just two actions of him make it well worth the investment.

The Lorcana card Little John Resourceful Outlaw by Filipe Laurentino,

3Little John, Resourceful Outlaw

Call Him Big John

There are a lot of Johns in the Robin Hood universe of Lorcana, but this time the bear Little John joins the game with a pretty powerful card. Little Joh, Resourceful Outlaw comes with the Okay, Big Shot ability, which so long as he’s exerted, your characters with bodyguard gain a bonus resist +1, reducing the amount of damage they would take by an extra one.

Even better, they also gain one extra lore count when they quest, which is pretty darn good for when you’re looking to close out a game.

The Lorcana card Robin Hood Unrivaled Archer by John Loren.

2Robin Hood, Unrivaled Archer

Can’t Seem To Miss

This Sapphire cardcomes from the original Lorcana setand is a very strong super rare from the set. Feed the Poor is Robin Hood, Unrivaled Archer’s first ability, and is a bit of a catch up mechanic, drawing you a card if your opponent has more than you.

Robin Hood makes for a solid challenger, with four strength and four willpower, and thanks to his Good Shot ability, he gains evasive on your turn, letting you take down those elusive characters on the other side of the board.

The Lorcana card Robin Hood Champion of Sherwood by Rudy Hill.

1Robin Hood, Champion Of Sherwood

Challenge Him

Drawing cards is the name of the game with Robin Hood, Champion of Sherwood. This card is all about going on the offensive and getting rewarded for it with some bonus card draw and lore boosts.

With the Skilled Combatant ability, this iteration of Robin Hood nets you two bonus lore anytime it challenges and banishes another character, which is pretty darn good. Should Robin Hood fall in battle from a challenge, you get to draw a card instead.
