Volleyball Legendsis aRobloxgame based on the popular Japanese anime and manga, Haikyuu. This is a series based on high-school characters that compete with each other in volleyball tournaments. So naturally, in Volleyball Legends, you are meant to play volleyball against other players for the win.
There are many factors that can affect the outcome of a game, one of those being “styles”. In total, there are 21 styles that have different contributions to a player’s playing style. Each one is attributed to a Haikyuu character and has different proficiency in eight or nine categories. There are also five different categories.
The Tier List
This tier list is rankedbased on how well-rounded each style isand how much of a chance it has to turn the tides of a game. They are also ranked based onhow useful they are to the teamas a whole.
Volleyball Legends gives each different styleat least eight different categories to determine their ranks. There is one “secret” style that contains nine categories. The categories are block, bump, dive, jump, serve, set, speed, and spike for all styles. The secret style contains all of these plus a “tilt” category.
Style Commonality
In Volleyball Legends,there are six common stylesthat are marked by the color green. These styles have a62.5 percent roll rate, so they are the ones you will most likely see when rolling for a new style. The common styles areHinoto,Saguwuru,Yamegushi,Tonoko,Haibo,andKito.
There arefour rare styles with a 35 percent roll rate. Rare styles are marked by the color blue. These styles are usually better to stick with if you are left with no other choice. The rare styles areNichinoya,Tsuzichiwa,OjiriandIwaezeni.
Thelegendary styles have a 2 percent roll rate. There areseven in total, but not all are worth keeping. Legendary styles are marked by the color red. Legendary styles areUchisima,Sagafura,Yabu,Kuzee,Yomomute,Kosumi, andAzamena.
There arethree godly stylesin Volleyball Legends. These stylesonly have a 0.49 percent roll rateand don’t fall below A tier. Godly styles are marked by the color gold or yellow. They areKageyomo,OigawaandButoku.
There isonly one secret style, and it has a 0.1 percent roll rate. This style is marked by the color dark blue and is Sanu’s style. This style is fully proficient in four categories, including the secret category.Sanu is the only secret stylein the game so far.
S
Sanu(Secret)
Sanu’s style isfully proficient in four categories, including the secret category, making it the best style to have in the game. Theonly below-average category is serving, but this can be easily worked around.
Thesecret category is called “tilt"and canallow the player to tilt in different directions, catching the opposing team off guard. This opens up the opportunity for more scores and to take home the win.
Oigawa(Godly)
Oigawaexcels in all areas except for spiking, but has aperfect jump and serve. Even though his spike isn’t going to guarantee points, his versatile style can be used to be an anchor for the team in all other areas.
Kageyomo(Godly)
Even though Kageyomo only hasone fully proficient category,almost all other categories are close to being 100%except for bumping and spiking.
Uchishima(Legendary)
There is onlyone S tier legendary style, Uchishima. This styleexcels the most in jumping and spiking, which are both extremely useful for scoring points when paired with a good setter. He barely struggles in any categories, but is slightly weak in bumping and setting.
Hinoto(Common)
Hinoto was ranked S tier based on the fact that it isthe most well-rounded style in the game. This style can be very usefuldepending on how attentive a playeris, even with nothing outstanding. Hinoto has an equal 50% in all areas.
A
Butoku(Godly)
Butoku isfully proficient in blocking, jumping and spiking, but is ranked at A tier. The setbacks that come with Butoku’s style are thebelow-average sets and the slowed-down movementspeed.
Sagafura(Legendary)
Sagafura is a style withextremely high movement speed. All other categories are above averageexcept for spiking and serving, which fall below average.
Yabu(Legendary)
Yabu hasamazing jump and speedbutreallylacks in serving. The rest of the proficiency categories make this style great for supporting players.
Kuzee(Legendary)
Kuzee is strong in many categories but has avery slow movement speed. Setting and diving are below average, butjumping is exceptionalwith this style.
Nichinoya(Rare)
Nichinoya was ranked in tier A becausehe could be the reason for a saved game. He is the weakest in his serves, butextremely proficient at bumping and diving. He also struggles with setting and spiking, but he is fast enough to be able to keep the ball in the air regardless of his weaknesses.
B
Yomomute(Legendary)
Yomomute hasperfect proficiency at bumping,making this style useful for putting the ball back into the air.
Kosumi does well in everythingexcept for serving and spiking.
Tsuzichiwa(Rare)
Tsuzichiwa’sbump and speed are quite low. Even though they’re countered by a perfect jump score, jumping isn’t always very useful when looking at his other proficiencies.
Ojiri(Rare)
Ojiri is above average in all proficiency categoriesexcept forsetting, diving, and spiking.
Saguwuru has alower proficiency in bumping and diving.
Yamegushi has alower proficiency in setting and spiking.
Iwaezeni has good stats in all areasminus bumping and diving.
Azamena hasslow movement speed and has low proficiency in setting.
C
Tonoko(Common)
Tonokolacks severely in setting, speed, and diving. All other categories are average, withspiking slightly above average.
Haibo(Common)
Haibolacks severely in serving, diving, speed, and spiking. All other categories are average exceptjumping is slightly above average.
Kito(Common)
Kitolacks severely in serving, setting, and spiking. All other categories areaverage.
