Summary

It’s been heavily rumored for a little while, but with a new tease from an insider called NateTheHate -who has claimed that the game will launch this June- is getting people excited.

However, there also seems to be many players slightly worried that a shiny remake could strip away the magic of the original game. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Fans Are Worried The Remake Won’t Be Buggy

Even if the idea of a polished version of Oblivion sounds great to you, it can’t be denied thatthe game’s legacy is the unintentional comedythat it has provided people for years thanks to just how buggy and unpolished it still is. Every now and again, you’ll see people sharing their favorite clips of the game, in all its broken glory, whether it be characters getting themselves killed, or robotic and hilarious dialogue between NPCs.

As a result, you now have people hoping thatBethesdawill keep the absurdities of Oblivion intact, such as Twitter user Joolmawenand many others who hope the bizarre tone in each character’s dialogue stays in. There are even people under that tweet calling for Bethesda to keepall the iconic voice acting mistakes in there too.

Of course, we need to actually know if the Oblivion remake is real first, before we start talking about what we want and what it should have. Despite all the rumors floating around, we still have no confirmation from either Bethesda or Xbox that this thing is real, though the person that started all the rumors - NateTheHate - did justaccurately predict the date of the Nintendo Switch 2 reveal, so… you never know.
