Summary
The latest patch forLike a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaiihas fixed an annoying-sounding glitch that caused the game’s Golden Balls collectibles to be unobtainable, among other things.
Although Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii ismeantto be a much shorter and more condensed game thanInfinite Wealth,it’s still absolutely stuffed to the gills with side content, collectibles, and missions to take on. A regular playthrough will take you a healthy 20 hours, let alone trying to scour the seas for every fight, treasure, and more.
One of the most taxing collectibles in the game is the Golden Balls, which return from Like a Dragon: Gaiden for the"When You Wish Upon Some Balls" sub-story. There are seven Golden Balls to find throughout Hawaii and Madlantis, and they can be quite tough to find as is, but a glitch has been preventing some players from ever completing the quest.

Don’t Worry, You Can Find The Golden Balls In Pirate Yakuza Now
Over on Twitter,RGG Studio shared the Patch 1.12 notes for Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, which just went live earlier today. Those notes reveal that a few important glitches have been fixed, with the most notable being a glitch where one of the seven Golden Balls could not be obtained, which would essentially lock you out of the sub-story altogether.
Some of the other issues that have been fixed include one where manual saving wasn’t possible, another where loading would cause the player to fall into the sea, and some more minor ones like arcade scores not being saved. Overall, it sounds like Pirate Yakuza just got a lot smoother, but it seems that players haven’t got the one fix theyreallywant.
That fix is for Pirate Yakuza’s infamous bloom issues, which many agree is far too bright and washes out scenes much more than in Infinite Wealth. Players have requested a fix for the bloom issues since the game launched, and one look at the replies to this set of patch notes reveals that’s still very much the case. Here’s hoping those issues get fixed soon now the Golden Balls are shined up.
