Regigigas rarely appears in the Pokemon TCG in any memorable form, though the timing of its debut was far from ideal. TheDiamond and Pearl era’s best cardsare beginning to get the attention they deserve given the sky-high prices of modern cards.
However, this Regigigas LV. X isn’t one of the top cards on buyers' lists, as it is struggling to maintain its current market value after falling from the $45 mark. Even though this Pokemon isn’t one of the most beloved characters in the series, it’s still likely to receive a bump in value as attention shifts to older sets.
7Duskull Shiny (Shiny Holo Rare) – $43.00
A Spooky Shiny
Shiny Duskull’s depictions in the Pokemon TCG are even more limited than Regigigas, as this red-robed Ghost-type takes a beautiful position in front of the moon on this card. The Shiny Holo Rare is aptly named considering the subject, and few cards in Stormfront are blessed with their shiny color palette.
While Duskull isn’t a hugely popular Pokemon, it was revived in Shrouded Fable along with Dusclops and Dusknoir as two of the set’s most adorable cards. Modern appearances don’t guarantee a resurgence for older cards, but this card may be targeted as a top contender for Duskull collections.
6Machamp LV. X (Ultra Rare) – $44.77
Muscling Its Way In
Machamp is an iconic Pokemon with a solid roster of valuable cards,but this LV. X typically flies under the radar as one of the Pokemon’s most underappreciated cards. Its value isn’t particularly high, but Machamp’s visually distinct art – as it appears to break out of the borders in 3D fashion – is worth every penny.
Unlike Regigigas, Machamp’s value continues to soar, as it once sat around the $35 mark in 2024, but jumped into the next tier to its current market price. Given Machamp’s iconic status as one of the most recognizable Kantonian Pokemon, you can expect this card to continue rising in value.
5Drifloon Shiny (Shiny Holo Rare) – $45.42
Rising Up
Another shiny Ghost-type Pokemon joins the fray, as Duskull’s friend, Drifloon, soars onto the scene at an impressive market price. Price aside, this Drifloon card might be one of the brightest and most cheerful depictions of this Pokemon in any medium, considering the usage of its bright-gold shiny form and the piercing blue sky in the background.
This Shiny Holo Rare is unlikely to fall, though its current price seems fair for now. However, this card might pop into a new stratosphere at any moment, given the regularity with which the Pokemon market continues to rise.
4Raichu LV. X (Ultra Rare) – $53.80
Electrifying Art
Raichu might live in Pikachu’s shadow, but this Pokemon frequently appears on cards like this beautiful Lv. X, that stand out from their peers. This card’s color does a lot of work, standing out thanks to the stark orange and yellow shadings and the extremely fierce scene.
Sales of this card are rare, but indicate plenty of support at the current market price, making it unlikely that Raichu could swipe one of the top spots away from the iconic trio who holds them.
3Charmeleon (Secret Rare) – $62.79
Stuck In The Middle
Charmeleon, while popular, pales in comparison to its evolutionary peers, Charizard and Charmander, when it comes to overall popularity in the Pokemon TCG.
Charmander frequently outperforms its evolution, especially inmodern sets like Scarlet & Violet: 151,as their Special Illustration Rares reflect a significant gap.
However, this Charmeleon card continues to creep up the price charts, as it previously sat around the $50 mark before it floated up toward its current value.
2Charmander (Secret Rare) – $70.20
Leaving The Competition Behind
Charmander claims the number two spot among the most valuable Stormfront chase cards with the adorable scene of it looking back at the flame burning on its tale. Charmander is lucky enough to have a few great depictions in the TCG, but this might be one of the cutest we’ve ever seen, supported by a serene background to complete the scene.
Charmander’s sales are even less frequent than Charmeleon’s, so this card’s current market price might change drastically moving forward. For now, Charmander will comfortably occupy second place among the best Stormfront cards.

Bringing The Thunder To Stormfront
Charizard stands tall as the most valuable card in Stormfront, as this iconic Pokemon adds another incredible entry to its list of valuable cards.While there are plenty of Charizard cards that lead the way for their respective sets, the Stormfront Charizard Secret Rare stands out with an unusual reinterpretation of the classic Base Set pose.
While Charizard boasts the fewest sales on TCGplayer of any card on this list, its value will remain high above the closest competition it has in Stormfront. Whether Charizard maintains its value or continues to rise remains to be seen, but this card is worth buying if you’re lucky enough to find a copy.
