While they’re typically found in battle royale or other combat-based experiences, the developers at Sony San Diego have found a way to utilize them inMLB The Show 25and without any upfront cost to the consumer or expiration dates.

Known as Programs in MLB The Show 25, each has a different theme, celebrating a particular aspect of baseball. One of the first to be released is the Tokyo Series Program, which spotlights some of the Japanese talent that has taken the league by storm in recent years. After completing various challenges, you’ll be able to add these players to your Diamond Dynasty roster.

Tokyo Series PXP Missions

Players you add to your Diamond Dynasty squad aren’t stagnant; they canbe made better by earning Parallel XP (PXP). This is essentiallyan experience system that rewards players with stat upgrades.

Getting clutch hits and punching out batters willreward your team members with PXP, and the Tokyo Series has a few challenges tied to this process.
