Ever since Fortnite popularized them, the battle pass progression model has been integrated into an astonishing number of games. While they’re typically found in battle royale or other combat-based experiences, the developers at Sony San Diego have found a way to utilize them inMLB The Show 25and without any upfront cost to the consumer or expiration dates.
Known as Programs in MLB The Show 25, each has a different theme, celebrating a particular aspect of baseball. One of the first to be released is the Tokyo Series Program, which spotlights some of the Japanese talent that has taken the league by storm in recent years. After completing various challenges, you’ll be able to add these players to your Diamond Dynasty roster.

Moments

Player Missions
After you begin adding some of the Tokyo Series players to your Diamond Dynasty squad,put them in your lineupto continue progressing the Program. Ohtani, Imanaga, and Suzuki canearn you more stars simply by using them.

The Tokyo Series offers ahandful of Stats Missionsto help expedite Program completion. These areextremely general goalsthat in all likelihood you’llcomplete during normal gameplay.

Get five hits with primary position designated hitters in any Diamond Dynasty mode
Ks w/ SP
Get 20 strikeouts with starting pitchers in any Diamond Dynasty mode
XBH w/ RF
Get five extra-base hits with primary position right fielders in any Diamond Dynasty mode
Tokyo Series PXP Missions
Players you add to your Diamond Dynasty squad aren’t stagnant; they canbe made better by earning Parallel XP (PXP). This is essentiallyan experience system that rewards players with stat upgrades.
Getting clutch hits and punching out batters willreward your team members with PXP, and the Tokyo Series has a few challenges tied to this process.

PXP w/ Dodgers
Earn 1,000 PXP with Dodgers players across all Diamond Dynasty modes
PXP w/ Cubs

These are the only repeatable Missions in the Tokyo Series Program, so if you’d like, you may continuously farm PXP with the required players for as many stars as you’d like.
