Summary

Well, it appearsthat the PlayStation Trophies aren’t the only thing that is a messwhen it comes tothe recently released Tomb Raider 4-6 Remastered collection. Specifically, it appears thatTomb Raider 4is somewhat incomplete, with the collection’s lead designer subtly telling players on Twitter to pause their playthroughs.

As first spotted in the Tomb Raider subreddit, Giovanni Lucca, a 3D artist and the lead designer on both last year’s Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered collection and this year’s 4-6 bundle, is letting fans know that they’re better off waiting for a yet-to-be-announced patch.

Say What You Mean

Initially, Lucca shared that gamers should begin with Chronicles, the fifth game of the series, before playing Last Revelation. At the time, it seemed like a harmless post.

Things took a turn from there after he responded to a gamer who pointed out that the Coastal Ruins section of the game looked noticeably worse than other levels prior to it, hinting that the player is better off staying in the library.

He then followed up with a separate post providing advice for those who called the game “too dark.”

If those weren’t enough red flags, Lucca also reiterated his initial response to another game, adding that “There’s no rush.”

Separately, when a player said they’d pause their TR4 playthrough, he called it a “wise choice.”

All of this to say is that there is something seemingly amiss within Tomb Raider 4. Things aren’t helped, when in that same Reddit thread, players discussed things becoming more “blocky"andthen reverting to normal. Perhaps a patch isn’t too far off, but the subtle shade and hints certainly don’t help things, either.
