Summary
Tony Hawk Pro Skaterhas been in the news quite a lot recently, as rumors are flying about a potential remastered collection of Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3 + 4. First, it wasthe loose lips of famous skater Tyshawn Jonesthat gave the game away, as he claimed in a recent podcast that he was part of a remastered Tony Hawk game.
Shortly after that, another tease for Pro Skater news came in one of the least expected places, asa date of March 4 with a Pro Skater logo above it was added to the latest Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 map. It’s pretty clear we’re getting something Pro Skater-nd nowan official countdown has been added to the Pro Skater websiteto dial the hype up even more.

Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3 + 4 Remaster Is Now Being Teased By A Website Countdown
First spotted by ResetEra user Nolifebr, this countdown shares the same date as the one included in theBlack Ops 6map - March 4 - and also includes a pretty lengthy timer of over ten days. We don’t get any further information from this countdown, other than the fact that it’s almost definitely a remaster, given that Iron Galaxy is named as one of the developers on the project.
For those unaware, Iron Galaxy has a pretty strong reputation as one of the best developers out there that is brought in for PC ports, and was responsible for porting Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1 + 2 to PC. It has also had a hand in various remasters over the years, such asMetroid Prime,The Last of Us Part 2,Spyro Reignited Trilogy, and theCrash Bandicoot: N Sane Trilogy.
Now, the real question is what exactly is going to be shown when this countdown reaches its end. It was claimed by a fairly reliable Xbox insider that this game, supposedly codenamed Project Chicago, wouldshadow drop at Xbox’s big summer showcase later this year, so it’s possible this countdown may not give us a release date just yet. If this insider is correct, chances are it’s just a trailer to show us exactly what’s being worked on.
Either way, it’s good to know that Pro Skater hasn’t been totally abandoned by Activision, and that a new game is on the way. Now let’s just keep our fingers crossed thatthe multiplayer for this remaster actually still works 6 months after release.
