Summary
Bam Margera, Jackass star and famous skateboarder, does not appear to be returning toTony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4.
As reported byVGC, Activision unveiled most of the game’s roster following its reveal earlier this week. While there are secret characters who have yet to be revealed, it’s unlikely that classic skaters would be withheld. And Bam Margera — who debuted in Pro Skater 3 — is nowhere to be seen.

So far, the roster includes: Tony Hawk, Bucky Lasek, Steve Caballero, Kareem Campbell, Geoff Rowley, Andrew Reynolds, Elissa Steamer, Chad Muska, Eric Koston, Rodney Mullen, Jamie Thomas, Rune Gilfberg, Bob Burnquist, Rayssa Leal, Chloe Covell, Jamie Foy, Zion Wright, and Yuto Horigome.
Why Isn’t Margera In The Game?
The writing has been on the walls for a while now. Bam Margera was scrubbed from the THUG 2 poster inTony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2, which was released in 2020, amidst several ongoing controversies and heavy public scrutiny.
Things only got worse following the game’s release. He was fired from the filming ofJackass Foreverin 2021 due to substance abuse, and co-creatorJeff Tremaine later filed a restraining order over Margera’s harassmentagainst him and Johnny Knoxville. Margera then went to trial in 2023 after allegedly assaulting and making death threats to his brother, and wassentenced to six months' probation as a result.

While he appears to be absent from the upcoming remake, his brother Jess Margera will make an appearance. He’s the drummer for rock band CKY, alongside Deron Miller and Chad I Ginsburg, and their song 96 Quite Bitter Beings will also be included in the game.
TheGamer has reached out to Activision for comment on Bam Margera’s inclusion, or lack thereof, in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4.
