Ammo Types
There are several distinct types of ammo, each tailored to specific scenarios. You can add them to your loadout by unlocking them at Workbenches or by looting them during campaign missions.
Reliable, versatile.
Armor Piercing
Designed topenetrate tough surfaceslike metal and rock. Ideal fortanks,trucks, andhelmeted enemies.
Reduced risk of alarms; extra bullet drop.
Soft Point
High-damage roundsdesigned for tougher enemies, such as Jäger troops, officers, and snipers.
Cannot penetrate armor or objects like helmets or wood.
Quiet ammosuited forstealthtakedowns.
Low noise, increased bullet drop.
To switch ammo types, open your weapon wheel in-game, hover over your weapon, and scroll through the available options. Just make sure to equip your preferred ammo in your loadout before heading into the mission.

Looking for specialty ammo? It is often found in high-ground spots like lookout points, outposts, or balconies. Check these areas and their surroundings to stock up.
