As well as scoring some kills, you’ll want to rake in the cash, and while you’re chasing down some gold or while generally playing, you’ll likely find yourself with the Gold Rush effect.
Your feet and hands will have sparkling gold all around them, but what exactly does this do and how can you get it? We’ve got it all covered for you right here.
What Is Gold Rush?
Gold Rush is an effect that makes youmove more quickly, jump higher, and break things more quickly while doing more pickaxe damage against structures. It only lasts for a short time, but it’s certainly a worthwhile effect to have, so don’t miss out on using it.
How Do You Get Gold Rush?
There are a few ways in which you can get the Gold Rush effect.
Gold Veins
You canfind Gold Veins on the western side of the island, where you may’t help but notice the ground has gold ore growing throughout it. Though the environment appears to have plenty of gold, there arespecific locations for the Gold Veins you can actually mine from. Using your pickaxe on these veins will grant the Gold Rush effect.
Mining from these Gold Veins will give you Gold Bars as well as the Gold Rush effect.
Gold Rivers
On the same western side of the island, thewater here is infused with gold, no doubt from all that naturally occurring ore.Jumping into Gold River water will also give you the Gold Rush effect, though sadly, no Gold Bars.
Gold Splash
Gold Splash is found in loot chests and on the floor, andusing it grants the effect of Gold Rush as well as giving 20 Health(or 20 Shield if your Health is full).
Smashing Chests With The Gold Rush Boon
Having theGold Rush Boon will enable it so that destroying chests also gives you the effect of Gold Rushfor a limited time.
Boons can be purchased from Black Markets or sometimes found in Rare Chests.
