The world ofKingdom Come: Deliverance 2comes with a vast outdoors teeming with plants and wildlife. Plenty of people make a livelihood out of the resources around, such as apothecaries using the growing herbs and huntsmen profiting from animals. Unfortunately, there are also poachers illegally hunting the wildlife and greatly affecting their numbers.

Vostatek is a gamekeeper you can meet north of Zhelejov Wagoner’s Inn. He is a well-regarded huntsman, though he is frequently drunk, and the forests near his home provide him plenty of game. Not long after meeting him, he will need your help in dealing with the poachers causing trouble near his territory.

How To Find The First Poacher

To begin the Bird of Prey quest, you need tospeak to Vostatekat his home. If you haven’t met him yet, he’s likely to belost in the forest.Complete the Lackey questto find him and bring him safely home.

After some time, he will needhelp with the poachers nearby. He will want you to deal with them in a way that they will not return, so he wants you to eitherkill themor tosend them to the bailiff in Troskowitz.

You have the option to spare the poacher, butthe poaching problem will continueas a result.

The first poacher is across the water from the Nomad’s Camp,southwest of Vostatek’s home. You can see the poacher’s locationhighlighted in yellowon the map when you have the quest active in your journal.

The area is situated on a hill, and there isa ruined cottage at the base of the hill. Walk along the road until you see it.Go inside the buildingto see the items inside left by the poacher. There is aRocktower Pond poacher’s kitnext to the entrance, and you can use this totrack the poacher’s locationif you have Mutt with you.

From the ruined cottage,go towards the hilland look for apath leading upward. Follow the direction of the path until itsplits in two directions. When it does, you’ll see apoacher’s camp to your right. The poacher can be foundstanding along the edge of the camp.

Speak to the poacherand choose how you’d like to deal with him.

If you send any of the poachers to the bailiff,they will be executed. Having them executed or killing them yourself is what Vostatek is after.

After dealing with the poacher,speak to Vostatekabout the next one.

How To Find The Second Poacher

Vostatek will then send you off to thewoodlands northwest of his home. Below this is wherea tanner and a fisherman live. you’re able to ask for information on the poacher from them, but the fisherman’s wife bears a grudge against the tanner and willattempt to turn you against him.

She will give you a hint about where to start in your search for the second poacher.Look for the outhouseon their property. Behind it isa path. This leads to the woods wherethe poacher’s camp is.

From the path behind the outhouse,take the path heading to the rightuntil you see the point where it leads to the woods on your left. This willtake you north, and you will findsigns of poacher activityalong the way.

Go straight through the woodsuntil you reach a clearing which isa deer hunting spot. Keep heading northuntil you see an idolalong the edge of the clearing. From there,head straight into the woodsagain andfollow the signs of poacher activityhanging from the treesuntil you find the camp.

You may come acrossa path in the woods. Following the path towards the heart of the woods maylead you to the poacher’s camp.

Once you find the camp,the poacher may be away.You can wait for his returnso you canconfront him. Choose how you’d like to deal with the poacher, thenreturn to Vostatekto receive a reward from him.

How To Find The Third Poacher

When you speak to Vostatek again he’ll recommend that you alsohelp out the gamekeeper in Nebakov. This is an areain the south. Head there tomeet Varel, the gamekeeper of that area.

He’ll ask for your help in dealing withthe poacher in Slatego forest. This issoutheast of Troskowitzand directlysouth of Apollonia. Varel will tell you aboutan unfinished cottage, and this is near the poacher’s camp.

A few meterssouth of the unfinished cottage, you’ll find anabandoned poacher’s camp. Inside a bag in the camp, you’ll finda poacher’s knife from Slatego.

You canuse the knife to track the poacher’s locationif you have Mutt.

If you don’t have Mutt,head west of the unfinished cottageuntil you reach theedge of the woods. You’ll find the poacher’s location there. Once you’re done,head back to Varelto give him a report of what you found.

How To Find The Fourth Poacher

Varel will ask you to find another poacher, this time inthe woods around Semine Pond. This iswest of his home. You canspeak to Kreyzlin Lower Semine Mill for extra information that willhelp you find the poachers.

There will bethree poachersin this next camp. They will beimmediately hostile, so make sure you’rearmed and ready to fight.

Kreyzl will direct you tohis storehouse he calls The Lair. You can find it in themiddle of the woods south of the pond. Once you find it, you can find thepoacher’s camp south of that area. You will need tohead up the hillto find the exact location.

Once you find the poacher’s camp, you will need tofind three pieces of evidenceof poaching activity.Deer remains and animal skincount as evidence, so keep an eye out for those.

While you’re looking for evidence, you may come across the bandits that are poaching in the area.Kill them allto successfully resolve Varel’s issue in this neck of the woods.

A bandit mayattempt to run awaywhen you attack the camp.Chase him downto meet Varel’s requirement. If you are unable to catch him, you can still speak to Varel andcomplete the mission.

Pick up the Lower Semine poacher’s kitfound in the camp when you can. Once you deal with the poachers and find the evidence,return to Vareland tell him what you found.

How To Find The Fifth Poacher

Varel will then send you after a poacher operating in the forestnorth of Trosky castle. This area is inthe Kopanina forests. From Trosky castle, followthe path that leads to the northwest. You’ll finda camp along the side of the pathtowards the woods. When the path reaches the mouth of the woods,you’ll see a shrine.

From the shrine,the path diverges. Take the pathheading towards the northuntil you seea small clearing.

If this is hard to find,walk along the right sidebeyond the path. The area will be elevated, and you will find it easier to locate wherea small entrance to a deeper section of the woodscan be found.

In the clearing, there isa basket with some arrows and marigoldas well asa path that will take you deeperinto the woods. Head through butdon’t go further.

Make a left andwalk towards the north, hugging the cliff’s side as you do. You will then make it tothe poacher’s camp. You willnot have to fight the poacher, but you willneed evidencethat you dealt with him. The poacher will give you his equipment topresent to Varel.

Telling Varel the truthwill upset himand therewon’t be any positive effects.

Return to Varel andshow him the poacher’s equipmentto convince him that you dealt with the problem. He’ll be grateful and willreward you for your efforts.
