The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak 2continues the series' love of all things culinary with the Gourmet Rank system. Every piece of food you eat in the game has Gourmet Points, which you need to rank up and earn those sweet stat boosts, making chowing down not only enjoyable, but extremely useful too.
There areliterally hundreds of different food itemsfor Van and the team to sample on their quest to become true Gourmets, and finding all of them is a mission in itself. You don’t need to eat everything to reach the max Gourmet Rank, but you’ll need to get pretty damn close. We’re here to take you through the process, tell you where you may get every piece of food and when it becomes available.

Where To Find Every Dish In Trails Through Daybreak 2
Before we crack on with this momentous undertaking, it’s worth pointing out a couple of things. First, every store that is selling new items or food issymbolized with a red marker on your minimap, but it will turn blue again once you check out what’s new. It’s best tobuy any new food you see immediately, rather than return later, as it’ll be easier to keep track.
Your party can also cook food for you, which also contributes massively to your Gourmet Rank, provided you find the recipes for them.Thankfully, we’ve also got a guide that includes every recipe and where to find them.

A lot of food is also missable, meaning if you skip over too much, you won’t be able to max the Gourmet Rank meter. Be sure tograb absolutely everything before moving on in the story, as there are locations you can’t return to. With that being said, here’s every dish in the game, where to find it, and when it becomes available.
Prologue
Trails through Daybreak 2’s prologue has the biggest bulk of new dishes made available to you at once, which meansyou may be strapped for cash. Thankfully, most of these items can be grabbed at later points in the story, so just make sure tonote down any you can’t afford.
Centre Marche - Complete the 4SPG Patisierrie of Ill Repute
Act 1-A
Thankfully, there isn’t much to snack on in Messeldam, what with it being a surprisingly tiny part of Calvard. It’s worth noting thatall of these items become unavailable once you leave Messeldam, so make sure to grab them at some point.
Messeldam
Act 1-B
I hope you’ve been saving up, because we’re about to go on another little food binge. Thankfully, most of the food herecan be purchased later in the story, but it’s best to snaffle up as much as possible, while also making sure you grab anything you missed in the Prologue.
Blacklight District
Act 2-A
Van is in another city with a new batch of friends, which means there’s another feast of food to be sampled. Just like in Messeldam,a lot of the food in Langport is missable, so be sure to grab everything you’re able to before you finish the chapter.
Langport - New Town
Act 2-B
We’re back in Edith now, and we get to see the inside of Aramis Academy for the first time. Unsurprisingly, there are a lot of good eats within the school, and you’ll be able to pick up anything you missed in previous chapters too.
Old Town
Fragments
Not a lot that can really be eaten on Nemeth Island, which is a little odd when you consider it’s pretty much a holiday for Van and the crew. All you need to eat is the Loco Moco Lavandula, which can be found at the Villa Bar Counter inside the lodge you’re staying in.
Act 3: Route A
Now here’s where things get a little strange. To avoid spoiling the story in case you haven’t reached this point yet, I’ll be light on details, but it can get very difficult to track when one route begins and one ends. That being said, keep an eye on whether a store is red or blue on your minimap, and you should be fine.
Centre Marche
Act 3: Route B
Since you’ve been around most of Edith in Route A, there isn’t much else to grab in Route B. However,it is the first time you can go back to Grand Circuit, so if you passed on anything way back in the Prologue, now’s your chance to grab it.
Grand Circuit
Act 3: Route C
It’s the same story for Route C too, though be aware you’ll be cut off from visiting a lot of locations thanks to certain story events. You’ll be able to grab the new stuff eventually, so just make sure you do so at the earliest opporunity.
Trion Tower - Observation Deck
Act 3: Route D
Not much in Route D either, though again, you will be stopped from going to certain districts until story matters are resolved. One of these items can only be grabbed at night, just before the end of the chapter, so make sure you don’t miss it.

Finale
You’re now in the final chapter of Trails Through Daybreak 2, so what better way to celebrate than stuffing your face with a bunch more food. This is the last set of food you need to grab, and you should be extremely close to the final Gourmet Rank now. The end is in sight!
Andalucia Pâtisserie
Auber District - Complete the 4SPG The Edith Sweets Contest
And with that, you should have munched on every cake, sandwich, and meal that Trails Through Daybreak 2 has to offer, and should have maxed out your Gourmet Rank in the process, provided you’ve also been cooking recipes whenever you get them too. Be sure to grab your Golden Dish accessory from the Achievements tab for your efforts, which gives a character a 50 percent boost to their Evasion and Arts Evasion stats.
