You’ve faced a hostile forest, cold mountain peaks, and now you’ve reached the volcanic Jungle, the final region inLuma Island. There’s no shortage of ruins for you to explore, and like those before, one of them is more special than the others: the Jungle Shrine.
Not only is it the final shrine you may unlock, but it also contains one of the last Luma Eggs, and you’ll want all the Lumas you can hatch as you work your way toward becoming a master at your profession. Get ready to cross water, trudge through quicksand, and even face fiery lakes of lava on your way to get it.
All Magma Offering Crystal Locations
Since it’s the final shrine in the game, there areonly eight Offering Crystalsfor you tofind in the Jungle, so therearen’t any extrasin case you miss the location of one.
As usual, they’ll also bespread out across the region, but they’re going to beharder to findsince you’re working off aless detailed map of the area.
Having yourWhip upgraded to the Volcanic version and then to tier three or fourat least canhelp with killing the Saw Plants quicklybefore they rotate and hit you with a saw.
Quicksand makes a returnas an obstacle, and you’ll bedealing with the annoying Saw Plantsto reach a few of the Offering Crystals, whichshoot out four bladesthat bounce off surfaces whilerotating every few seconds, and they cankill you in a single hit.
You may want to bring at least ten Reeds, Jungle Resin, Jungle Wood, Jungle Wood Planks, Silk Rope, Jungle Stone, and Jungle Stone Bricks with you while searching for the Offering Crystals, as there areseveral bridges you need to repair across the Jungle so you can access new sections of the regionand the crystals are located near a few of them.
How To Find It
Crystal 1
Headeast along the beachby the ship’s drop-off point andhead through the shallow wateruntil youreach a large rock arch with a repairable bridgenear it. Gonorth through more shallow water, then turn and goup the slope nearby when you see a Saw Plantin the distance. Follow it and the Offering Crystal isat the edge of the cliff.
Crystal 2
Headnorthwest from the ship’s drop-off pointand when you reach thefour-way split in the path, continue goingnorth along the lava river. Take the pathgoing down to the beachwhen you see the quicksand zone, and go down andaround across the path in the shallow water. Follow it all the way around until you get to abeach with a Skeleton Slime, then go to thecorner of the islandand the Crystal is on the edge.
Crystal 3
Headnorthwest from the ship’s drop-off pointand, when you reach the four-way split in the path, gonorth along the lava river. Follow the pathpast the quicksand zonewith dark brown sand, and down to asection of shallow water. Break thetwo Jungle Boulders nearbyand the Crystal is in the sand behind them.
Crystal 4
Headnorthwest from the ship’s drop-off pointand follow the path to the four-way split, taking the onealong the lava river. Follow itpast the first quicksand sectionwith dark brown sand and down to abeach with a Skeleton Slime. Go past it and cross thelong section of quicksand with light brown sandand Saw Plants until youreach the Jungle Temple, then go through thetight corridor between the cliffs. Follow itacross the shallow waterand up the slope, and the Crystal is at thetop of the island.
Crystal 5
Headnorthwest from the ship’s drop-off pointand keep goingalong the lava riverwhen you hit the four-way split, but this time you’ll want togo across the quicksand zone with dark brown sand. On the other side of it, godown the slopeinto the shallow water, through thedoorway behind the waterfalls, and the Crystal is at the end of the small path.
Crystal 6
Headnorthwest from the ship’s drop-off pointand goalong the lava river until you reach asection with darker-colored grass and a stone arch. Go up the side of the volcano anduse the floating stones to cross over the lava riversuntil you reach thefirst section where you need to break Jungle Bouldersto free up platforms. Use the stones tocross to the edge of the cliff, and follow the pathdown and around to a separate lakefurther below. Cross over it, and the Crystal is on asmall corner at the edge of a cliff.
Crystal 7
Headeast along the beach from the ship’s drop-off point, follow thepath through the shallow waters, and then go northpast the repairable bridge. Cross through thesection filled with Saw Plantsand, on the other side, gopast the quicksand and the Skeleton Slime to a stone archwith more Saw Plants past it. Either kill or run past them until you see theone next to the repairable bridge. Kill this one and the Crystal ison the hill up the path it was blocking.
Crystal 8
Headeast along the beach from the ship’s drop-off pointand follow thepath through the shallow waters, past the bridge, andthrough the section with the Saw Plants. Head down thebeach with the Skeleton Slime, and take thepath away from the stone arch. Follow it to asecond arch, go down thesmall sand area and into the shallow water, and follow thepath around and up the cliff. The Crystal is on top of the small island, near the edge.
Where To Find The Jungle Shrine
The Jungle Shrine is located in thenorthwestern corner of the map, and you’ll need to cross over somefairly long sections full of quicksand and Saw Plantsto reach it.
Follow thepath from the ship’s drop-off point to the northwestwithout straying too far in any other direction,passing by the river of lavasurrounding the volcanowithout actually starting to ascendit.
When youreach the quicksand area, keep goingpast it and down the slopeonto the beach. Continuenorthwest across the shallow waterto a section with light brownquicksand and several Saw Plants.
Either kill or avoid the Saw Plant’s blades as youmake your way across and around, and once you’reon the other side, the Jungle Shrine is on thehill above the beach.
You’ll need to put an Offering Crystal intoeach of the eight empty Offering Crystal Pedestalsand then the door to theshrine will be unlocked. Inside, you’ll find an Orange Chest containingone of the final Luma Eggs available, anAncient Book, and aPurple Chestcontaining regular Jungle-region loot.
