The forests and fields inKingdom Come: Deliverance 2are full of herbs and plants for you to pick. They’re used for more than just decoration too. You’ll need various herbs to brew potions to heal you, rid you of food poisoning, or to poison other characters you don’t really like.
One of those herbs is called Herb Paris, and it’s one of the most useful. It’s used in many concoctions, including the main healing potion, and the poison that you’ll want to use to distract NPCs and guards. However, since it is so useful, it is also pretty rare. You won’t stumble upon it anywhere like you would Nettle.
Where To Buy Herb Paris
The in-game description of Herb Paris says you’ll be able tofind it in “deep forests.“However, since much of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2’s two regions are forest, finding it is easier said than done. Thankfully, there’s one reliable place to go.
You should be able to buy Herb Paris from almost any Herbalist or Apothecary in the game, but Herbalist Barnaby is best.
If youhead to the Trosky region and head into the forest to the north of Trosky Castle, you’ll stumble across a hut in amongst the trees.
There, you’llfind Herbalist Barnaby. He sells all manner of potions, poisones, and herbs for you to buy, including Herb Paris. You canbuy it from him for just 0.3 Groschen, so grab whatever you need. Just remember, don’t keep it in your inventory for too long without drying it, as it’ll go bad fast and won’t be able to be used.
Where To Harvest Herb Paris
Alternatively, you can simply pick Herb Paris for free when you find it. As we said, you may be able to find it in forests, but that’s not reliable.
Thankfully,Herbalist Barnaby grows Herb Paris in his own garden. If youwait until nighttimeand head to his home then,you’ll be able to pick some from his gardenwhile he’s asleep. You’ll then be able touse it in whatever potions you need it for.
