Some herbs and plants inKingdom Come: Deliverance 2are much rarer than others, andPoppyis one of the hardest to find. Unlike nettle or mint, it’s not just growing in every field or outside every house. You need to hunt for it a little more.
However, since every plant and herb in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is used in a useful potion or poison, you’ll want to know where to find poppy for when you inevitably need it. Since it’s rare, you need to head to some quite specific places to harvest or buy it.

Where To Harvest Poppy
The in-game description of poppy says thatit is found “abundantly in fields and furrows” in all regions. However, that’s pretty vague, since the majority of the open world is made up of fields and forests.
To save you some time, there is one place you’ll reliably find poppy. If youhead to the fields to the east of Semine, you’ll find plenty there. Check between the wheat crops and you’ll find some easily.
Once you’ve found the poppy you need, either use it in potion recipes immediately or dry it at a drying rack for use later on.
Where To Buy Poppy
Alternatively, you’re able to buy poppy from certain merchants in the game. However, you won’t find it at every herbalist and apothecary, like you will some other plants and herbs.
If you speak to Aranka in the Nomad camp in the west of the Trosky region, you’ll be able to buy it for less than one Groschen each. You can then take whatever you’ve harvested or bought to an Alchemy Bench and start crafting the potions you need for the next stage of the game.
If you may’t find Poppy in the Kuttenberg region, you can travel back to the Trosky region by speaking to the Coachman to the west of Suchdol and paying 200 Groschen for the journey. You’ll then be able to return to Aranka to buy what you need.
