As well as needing various herbs and plants to craft potions and poisons, you’ll need certain types of metal to craft swords at a Smithy inKingdom Come: Deliverance 2. One of the metals you’ll regularly need is scrap metal, but it’s not very easy to find.

Since metal doesn’t grow out of the ground, like herbs and plants do, you’ll have to think a little harder about where you get the scrap metal you need. Thankfully, if you find the right people to speak to, you can buy all the scrap metal you need for a small Groschen fee.

Where To Buy Scrap Metal

Like all metals, you’re better off buying scrap metal than looting itin Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. There are two places you can reliably buy it - one in each of the game’s regions.

You canbuy scrap metal from Blacksmith Radovan in Tachov, or the blacksmith in the centre of Kuttenberg City. You may already know the Blacksmith in Tachov well after helping him get you into the wedding at the start of the game.

Scrap metal only costs 2.1 Groschen by default, but you may still haggle to get it for a lower price. That’s especially useful if you’re buying in bulk. Just be careful - metal is heavy and will take up a lot of your carry capacity.

Scrap Metal Locations

If you’re running very low on funds, you can try and loot for scrap metal instead of buying it. You’ll not going to find it growing anywhere, butyou’ll likely find it around merchants who use it.

Therefore, wait until nighttime and head to an armourer or blacksmith’s shop or home. In their chests, you’ll likely find scrap metal you can loot. It’s not guaranteed, and you’ll need a high Thievery stat to do so, but it’s an option. However, since scrap metal only costs a couple of Groschen each, you’re better off just buying it. Don’t be cheap!

Unlike food and herbs, metals cannot expire. you may carry it forever and use it when you need it.
