The Witch’s Castle mission inThe First Berserker: Khazanwill take you to Lake City Aldevir. This is among the largest stages in the game. It’ll have you circling the village, draining the lake, and then traveling along the drained canal fighting the undead.
Naturally, the larger the stage, the more collectibles you’ll have to gather. We’ll take you through the location of Armor Sets, Soulstones, and a ton of collectibles. We’ll even point you in the direction of the Jarling and a ghost item to help buff up a phantom.
The Commercial District

Jarling?

Head straight into the heart of the village and activate the Commercial District Blade Nexus. In the Commercial District, some of the villagers will attack you, others won’t. You can respond on a case-by-case basis, or just slaughter indiscriminately. As far as we can tell, this has no effect on anything.Head toward the left cornerin the Commercial District and you will finda pair of large wooden doors:Smash them and proceed forward.
Pel Los Lancer Miniboss
This soldier has extremely fast, lunging strikes. These travel farther than you would expect. His shield makes him hard to hit in the front, so you will want to dodge around him and attack his back. Once you defeat him, you will be rewarded with theLost Mage’s Greatsword, Great General’s Helm, Furious Bandit’s Gaiters, and a Lightning Enhancer.
Open up the treasure chest the lancer was defending to obtain anOceanic Spear, Crusader’s Pants, Slayer’s Ring, and Spirit Ore.Head back to the area with the villagers, and push forward up the stairs and through the gate.
The First Soulstone
You’ll drop down into an area with a large courtyard. Look to your right, around the corner is aSoulstone (1/5). There are two Pel Los Fighters standing near the statue in the center of the clearing. Take them out and pick up theLightning Enhancerbeside the statue.
There’s a small set of stairs nearby. In this next area, there are a few houses you may enter. The one to your left has two possessed villagers and aSoul Tearstone Shard. The house past that one has a cowering villager and a possessed villager.
Head down the alley, but watch out for the possessed villager looking to ambush you around the corner. There is a boarded-up door here that you can destroy: enter the house and break down the boarded-up wall. You’ll find aFire Enhancerin the courtyard.
Head forward to open the locked gate. There is aPel Los Longswordsman patrollingnearby, so watch out. Head all the way to the bottom of the stairs and get the two Inner Essences. Then go back up the stairs and take your first right. You’ll pass more villagers and climb on top of a roof. Watch out for thenearby archer.
Hop down from the roof, and circle around to theSoul Tearstone Shard.Look for the wooden stairs leading up and into a house.The Submerged Village Blade Nexusis inside that home.
The Submerged Village
Cowering Civilians,Pell Los Fighter (sword), Pell Los Fighter (spear), Pel Los Archer, Pel Los Lancer, Pel Los Longswordsman,
Look for the area where you will need to hop down. Continue forward and you’ll contend with another Pel Los Archer on the roof and a Pel Los Fighter. Now, climb the ladder, take out a possessed villager,open the chest, and then dash away before it explodes. From the rubble of the chest you’ll get aFallen Lord’s Spear, and ten Keen Blades.
Jump down from the roof, follow the path forward up some stairs, fighting a Pel Lost Fighter with a sword and some Possessed Citizens along the way. When you see a plank acting as a bridge, watch out, aPel Los Fighter with a spear is on the other end and will try to knock you off it.
Jump down from the roof and onto the wooden walkway, watch out for the Possessed Citizen waiting to burst out of the house next to it. In the next area, there is aSpirit Ore. Pick it up and get ready to fight a pair of Pel Los Fighters and an archer, head forward, climb the ladder, and kick the ladder down toThe Submerged Village Blade Nexus.
Go back to where you just fought those soldiers, and hop down and follow this path around while fighting off Corrupted Villagers. There is one looking to jump you once you pass through a doorway. Break down the boarded-up doorway and get theBishop’s Scroll.Head back to the main path, climb a ladder, and you’ll now be able to head forward and jump down, or go to the left and climb the stairs.
Now, before you head down one of those paths, turn around and break the stone wall behind you. Drop down onto the roof, climb up the ladder, and open the chest up above. You’ll get aGolden Helm, Golden Pauldrons, Golden Combat Boots,and anEarth Enhancer. After you claim your treasure, head back to that fork in the road.
If you climb the stairs…
Get ready to fight some Archers and a Fighter once you climb the stone steps. Keep heading this way, and you’ll run into a Pel Los Lancer. Their back will be turned to you, so you canland a Brutal Attack.
If you hop down…
You’ll fight three Corrupted Villagers. There is also aRing of Sealed Waterdown here. You’ll then climb a ladder and be confronted by a Pel Los Lancer - this is the same one that you would fight on the other path.
The wisest path forward is to take the stairs, kill the soldiers so that they don’t team up with the Lancer, fight said Lancer, and then jump down to get the ring.
Once you’ve fought the Pel Los Lancer, head through the nearby doorway, and head for the nearby balcony where you’ll get theWaterlogged Journal. Head down the stairs, open the gate, and you’ll be in a room with the next Blade Nexus.
Floodgate
Yoma Jester, Undead Swordsman, Undead Archer, Undead Vagrant, Undead Ice Archer, Undead Assassin. Corrupted Creation, Renowned Warrior’s Shadow
Head across the bridge and kill the Yoma Jesters. There are a few more in the room beside you. After taking them out, findthe massive leverand turn it. This will open the floodgates and drain the water. Head down the nearby stairs and you’ll fight some Undead Swordsmen.
After you clear out the undead, cross the beams and prepare to throw a javelin at the Undead Ice Archer on the other side of the map. Hug the left wall, and battle your way through the undead horde (this includes a bunch of Undead Swordsmen, some Undead Ice Archers, and an Undead Assassin). There are twoFlash Stonesover here.
You can actually take out the three Undead Ice Archers from the bridge near the Floodgate Blade Nexus. It is probably worth assigning a skill point to the javelin ability that prevents the undead from rising after a javelin-based death.
Now, head back, and cross over the bridge where the first Undead Ice Archer was. Follow that path around and down the ladder. Look to the side of the ladder and you’ll see a tunnel. Head through the tunnel and there’ll bea large clearing to your left and a tunnel to your right.
To the right, you’ll fight an Undead Summoner in this area. Take them out first. Once you’ve cleared out that batch, push forward and grab theSoul Tearstone Shard- three club-using Undead Vagrants will try to ambush you.
To the left, you’ll enter through a tunnel and have to battle the Undead Assassin lurking inside. Once you’ve killed him go open the chest. You’ll getTurquoise Dual Wield, Hunter’s Shoes,and aNecklace of Blessings.
Now, head back to the giant clearing, but be ready to be jumped by a Corrupted Creation. The main thing to keep in mind is that this creature can use the spider’s web to bind you, and when it is going into its combo it goes on for quite some time (around ten hits or so).
The Second Soulstone
Climb the ladders, pull the nearby switch, and open the gate. You’ll be back in that area where you found the Ring of Sealed Water. Continue forward along the path that was flooded previously. To you right you’ll see a boarded doorway, smash those planks and you’ll be inside a house with the nextSoulstone (2/5).Leave that house and take another right. In the corner you’ll find theWater Disruption Parchment.
Head down the wide alley, but take your first right. Break some wooden junk and head down the stone steps. Now there will be some steps leading down, and some steps to your left. Travel up the steps on the left and grab theNecklace of Sealed Water. There is an Undead Vagrant, Undead Ice Archer, and a Renowned Warrior’s Shadow in this area.
The Third Soulstone
Head toward the alley, then take a left. You’ll fight an Undead Vagrant and two Undead Archers. Open the gate to get anotherSoulstone (3/5).Jump out that window, and you’ll be back in the alley from before. Head to your right and you’ll hit the next Blade Nexus.
Chaos-Infested Land

You’ll be back to fighting Corrupted Villagers. To the right of the stairs, you’ll find aSoul Tearstone Shard. Once down the stairs, there will be someTransmutation Shardson your right.
Head to the bottom of the stairs and down the alley in the right corner. There will be an Undead Assassin somewhere around here. Head through the passageway, up the ladder, and take out the Undead Swordsmen up here. There is a treasure chest to your left with aGreatsword of the Sun, Hunter’s Gauntlet, Veteran’s Ring,and aWater Cleanse Potion. Head back to the bottom of the stairs, and travel to the left.
In this area, you’ll fight off aneliteCorrupted Creationminiboss. This creature is identical to the one you fought in the previous area, it just has more health. If you are having a hard time with the Corrupted Creature, you may want to focus more on attacks that can stagger it. The Greatsword is quite good at disrupting everything it does. You’ll get aButcher’s Helm, Crushed Dreams Pauldrons, Great General’s Leggings, Plague Cleanse Potion,and threeInner Essencesfor your trouble. Now pull the lever to raise the gate.
Past the gate, take a right. You’ll kill a few Yoma Jesters and get aSoul Tearstone Shard. Travel forward, down the ladder (watch out for the Undead Ice Archer) and onto the row of rooftops. verify to get theWild Ghost Necklacefrom the room in the center of this cluster. The path forward is extremely narrow, and there are a bunch ofUndead Vagrants with their massive clubswandering around. Be extremely cautious, as it is easy to get knocked into the water.
Head up the ladder and into the castle, up another ladder, and into the elevator. Once you leave the elevator, you will enter the Aldevir Citadel area. The next Blade Nexus will be straight ahead.
Aldevir Citadel

There is aSoul Tearstonealongside some Yoma Jesters up the steps on your right, and you’ll findAldevir’s Disk Fragmentin the right corner of the map. Head into the church itself, and you will have your first encounter with the Beast of Madness miniboss.
Beast Of Madness Miniboss
This creature is big, fast, strong, and durable. It likes to leap into the air and come crashing down on top of you. If it starts to charge up, it is recovering its poise, so get in there and hit it hard.
The Fourth Soulstone
Head up the stairs and take a right. Follow this path around, and you will enter a room with an Undead Summoner and multiple Undead Vagrants. Head up the ladder and you’ll face off against a Renowned Warrior’s Shadow. Once you kill it, you’ll find anotherSoulstone (4/5)in the corner of the room. Go down the ladder and you’ll be back at the entrance.
Now, head up the stairs again, but go left this time. Follow the path until you reach the library. You’ll fight a bunch of Yoma and Corrupted Villagers along the way. In the library, there is aFire Spirit Fuelin the right corner. Head up the stairs, there are a dozen or so Yoma up here with a bunch of Corrupted Villagers. You’ll find aSpecial Cleanse Potionin the right corner.
The Fifth Soulstone
Don’t head through the large opening yet; instead, head to the other side of the room. With your back facing the bridge, there will be anEarth Enhancertucked away in the right corner. In the left corner, there are a couple of pots. Smash them and you’ll find theJarling. Finally, look for the bookcase with thegreen glowing book. Interact with it to open up the passage and find the finalSoulstone (5/5).
Now you can go down the bridge, take a right and travel down the elevator, unlock the gate, go back up the elevator, and activate thefinalBlade Nexus: Lydia’s Garden. All that is left for you to do is to enter the boss arena and fight Trokka.
