Most of the Side Stories you find inSplit Fictionare along the main pathway, and one of the characters will spot them before you do, announcing their presence for you. While there is occasionally a little bit of wallrunning required, they’re all pretty straightforward. All of them, except one -Mountain Hike, thethird Side Storyin the game.
This comes towards the end of Neon Revenge, the game’s second chapter, and the Side Story itself concerns a magical land of giants. However, to get there, you’ll need to get a little clever, and unfortunately for Mio, also get a little messy.
Where Is The Third Side Story In Neon Revenge?
One of the most fun areas in all of Split Fiction is the waterpark on the roof of the hotel near the end of Neon Revenge. The Side Story isjust after this waterpark section. Head to the back of the roof andzip line across to the balacony. Here you’ll find thefirst bench in the game, withall six required for a Trophy/Achievement. Sit on the bench, then zip lineonto a passing car.
This will tak you to the next rooftop, which is notable for itsthree portable toilets. Beyond these toilets is the hotel you need to enter to progress the level. However,if you turn around, you will see the Side Story on a tower. While there is a ladder, this is folded up, and thuscannot be climbed.
How To Reach The Last Side Story In Chapter 2
As you may have gathered from the fact you need to get"messy"and the pointed inclusion oftoilets, this is not going to be pretty for Mio.Mio has to get in one of the toilets(it doesn’t matter which one), and then it’sZoe’s turn to act. Using thegravity whip, grab the toilet and throw it to the Side Story. The toilet will explode as it lands, freeing Mio. She can then kick the ladder down for Zoe to jump to, and they can both head to the land of the giants in the final Side Story of the chapter, Mountain Hike.
