To make things like swords and plate armour inKingdom Come: Deliverance 2, you’ll need to collect the right kinds of metal before you head to the smithy to begin the crafting process. One of the metals you’ll need for the best weapons and armor isToledo Steel.

Unlike meat and herbs, you cannot loot metals in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 as you explore the open world. There’s no mining feature in the game and you won’t find it lying on the floor for you to pick up. Henry doesn’t quite have the skill to turn ore in certain kinds of metal. At least not yet.

Where To Buy Toledo Steel

Themost reliable way to get Toledo Steel in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is to buy it. You’ll be able tobuy it from Armourers and Blacksmiths in Kuttenberg.

You aren’t able to buy it from any merchants in the Trosky region, with the material being used exclusively for gear you’re able to craft in the second half of the game.

Indicated in the screenshot of the map above, the best place to find the metal is to go to the Blacksmith in the market in the centre of Kuttenberg city. He’s right next to the Smithy, at a little market stall. He sells Toledo Steel for between 25 and 35 Groschen, depending on your reputation and your haggling skills.

Unlike herbs and food, you may keep Toledo Steel in your inventory forever without worrying about it. The only issue is it’s quite heavy and will limit what else you can carry.
