On July 12, 2025,The Sims 4 posted a trailer on YouTubetitled “The Sims 4: Stay Weirder - Weirder Stories Official Trailer”. Here, we learn a little bit more about the Pancakes family. Some interesting tidbits includeBob’s coffee drinking habits, his love of daytime television, and his ability to easily give up.

The narrator calls Bobthe most ‘least-interesting Sim in the world’.In the video, we see Bob doing his typical boring things,while Eliza nags at him pretty much the entire time.From this, we get a real sense of the couple, and their traits start to make a little more sense.

If you glance at the traits listed earlier,you may notice that Bob and Eliza don’t look too compatible.In the household description of the Pancake family, we also get a look into their relationship, with the following text.
