Summary
Xbox’s multiplatform endeavours will includeNintendo Switch 2ports, suggests Phil Spencer. Speaking in an interview with Gamertag Radio, Spencer says that he’s “looking forward” to working withNintendoahead of its new console release, describing the company as an “important part” of the industry.
This comes as Xbox is increasingly porting its games to rival platforms, with many console exclusives now available onPS5. However, with Nintendo now bringing out a more powerful console, it seems that Xbox will share more of its titles with the Switch 2 as well, even if none have been confirmed yet.

Phil Spencer Comments On The Switch 2 Reveal
The Xbox boss confirms that the studio will support the Switch 2 with its own games
“I just always applaud the moves that they make,” Spencer opens when the topic of the Switch 2 comes up in the Gamertag Radio interview. “I know we’ll get more detail over time. Really looking forward to supporting them with the games that we have.
“I just think they’re such an important part of this industry […] who would ever bet against the success of that team?” he continues. “They are just masterful in what they do. Switch is a massive success, and I think Switch 2 will be as well.”
Right now, the only game that is officially confirmed for Switch 2 isa new Mario Kart title, and that’s only because it featured in the Switch 2 reveal. It’s being reported thatUbisoft has a bunch of Switch 2 ports in the works though, so alongside Xbox, it seems that we can expect Nintendo to be in on multiplatform releases going forward.
As for Xbox, its multiplatform endeavours are in full swing. Of the games shown off at its latest Developer Direct, only one was an Xbox console exclusive:South of Midnight. So, some Switch 2 ports would not be a surprise.
